Plane Crazy | Dune Ornithopter Flight Showcase
Finally finished the flight mechanism! I love the way this turned out, I hope you do too!!
I'm going to paint it soon, but i don't know if I'm going to be able to make the body look nice because of the mechanism taking up a lot of space. If any of you have an advice or techniques I could try please LET ME KNOW down in the comments.

Can u make the civilian ornithopter from dune?
probably use "Disconnector" as a half block since it's more lighter, so it won't wobble again. I used them on my Suspensions to avoid weights that can roll over

Are the wings for lift or decoration?

@@piglinplayz8391 decoration but I could theoretically make them provide lift, it would fly terribly though 😂 so I went with this
can you make jackal from call of duty infinite warfare, cuz i tried and failed ;(

Was it for pvp or for show?
It utilizes rocket engines for vertical movement and blades for stability right?

@@GlyphidGuard kinda, you’re right about the rockets but I used a gyro to stabilize because the motion of the blades is too jerky to be stabilized without them

@@dannyboyhero Why is it so wobbly then? My gyros get so wobbly only if I use a very heavy vehicle or when half of the heli blades get destroyed

@@GlyphidGuard the linkage motion becomes unsynced and throws the weight out of balance on the sides, if there was some way to keep them in since the shakiness would be solved…

@@dannyboyhero maybe make them all work on 1 or 2 main gears? Like front pairs work on front gear and back ones have a separate(or the same) gear. With that most of them it should be synced

@@GlyphidGuard there might be a problem with that because that’s normally used for alternately rotating links, whereas I want mine to be synchronous
are you able to design it and make it nearly as identical as the same ornithopter in Dune?
