Hi Kendra, I love 💕 your spread and the awareness you gave us the history of Juneteenth!! Didn’t know it was a recognized holiday since 1980 in Texas, wow 😮!!! It is so funny to me how Black American 🇺🇸 History is not told, shared or taught universally within the United States 🇺🇸. Some places knew @ it and others don’t. I guess we just have to keep on sharing and spreading awareness wherever we can. Thanks for today’s messages with your beautiful design layout. PS. Yes, I work in higher ed and the college was closed. We have been closing for a few years now.

It is my day off, but my job is not closed. I'm a nurse in a hospital, so we never close . But unfortunately, Juneteenth is not one of the major holidays my hospital recognizes.

I work retail so I definitely worked today.
