Plain Old Cars: 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe
The first of our Plain Old Cars Series, a #whiteman_motors original, by the originator himself, here is a walk through of a 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe.
This was one of the last cars to be produced prior to the war effort, making this car 80 years old this year, in 2021.

I remember these cars back in the middle 60s early 70s still being in the junkyards still drivable and you could bottom for $25 dollars and drove him home my brother bought one that was almost in mint shape came with Rosebud vases on the side doors curtains as well

Plymouths were solid, well-built cars. My first car was a '52 Cranbrook; I miss it to this day.

Love it! I watch B & W movies and the many vehicles in them! It's nice to see a video of one in HD quality to appreciate them even more!
I know someone who has one, they installed a newer motor, still has the original motor if someone is looking for the motor.
Beautiful survivor '41 PLYMOUTH SPECIAI DELUXE four door sedan. I recently purchased one very similar to yours in the same rare color which was called 'West Point Gold', color code 803. Mine has a radio (currently not working) but does not have the second heater nor the wheel beauty rings.
23 miles per gallon is better than some cars on the market today

Very nice old Plymouth. It looks to be quite a survivor. I wonder what it's story is. It' been around a long time to have lasted so well. Must be a very fun car to just cruise around the back roads in. Good luck with it.
Plain? Compared to the ugly crap (Toyotas) people are buying today this is a thing of beauty!!!

the only thing I would consider maybe doing was seeing if a slant 6 or a 273maybe a 318 would drop in it but no its fine the way it is.
