Plain Bob Major at Richmond, Greater London

An excerpt from a quarter peal of Plain Bob Major rung at Richmond.
I recently had the opportunity to ring the tenor for the first time at St Mary Magdalene Church in Richmond, and I was really pleased with my effort.
The church houses an 18½cwt ring of eight bells cast by a mix of London founders, including Robert Catlin, James Bartlet, and Lester & Pack. Together, they create a loud and robust sound characterized by their punchiness. In the ringing chamber, their tones are crystal clear, and they project a powerful roar.
Some might describe them as horrid and clangy, but I disagree. To me, these bells are the distinctive sound of Richmond, full of character and history.
