Without You I'm Nothing lyrics:
Strange infatuation seems to grace the evening tide
I'll take it by your side
Such imagination seems to help the feeling slide
I'll take it by your side
Instant correlation sucks and breeds a pack of lies
I'll take it by your side
Over saturation curls the skin and tans the hide
I'll take it by your side
Tick - tock
Tick - tock
Tick - tock
Tick - tick
Tick - tick
Tick - tock
I'm unclean, a libertine
And every time you vent your spleen
I seem to lose the power of speech
You're slipping slowly from my reach
You grow me like an evergreen
You've never seen the lonely me at all
I
Take the plan, spin it sideways
I
Fall
Without you, I'm nothing
Without you, I'm nothing
Without you, I'm nothing
(Take the plan, spin it sideways)
Without you, I'm nothing at all

Brian serenaded me through the loneliest and darkest time of my life, as a little girl in a broken home... this whole band was my escape from a reality I could barely cope with. Only reason I seldom listen to Placebo anymore is because the emotions it invokes in me are so intense, the memories and flashbacks and those old feelings I've tried so hard to leave behind all come flooding back... but the respite their music provided me during the worst time of my life, I will never forget. Thank you all for your hard work helping people. Also, this band is incredibly huge and has made a massive impact. The reason David sang with them is because they're so incredible and legendary; this band is sure to go down in history to never be forgotten. In Europe this band is astronomically bigger than here in the States. Speaking of never to be forgotten; rest in peace David.

I love watching Stefan's face in this video. He can't stop having cheeky glances at David every 2 mins like "fuck me I need to keep looking at this to remind myself it's actually happening", and then as the song progresses David is getting more and more into it.....just magic. You can tell Bowie was really into it and loved the band. I can't imagine what that felt like for them x

@@enricovankeeken9503 You have to compare the body of music. In a straight comparision, there is no real comparision. Taste in music is not a competition. It's all about the music. Bowie is/was a huge music fan and was the champion of many up and coming bands. He wouldn't have been singing this song thinking "I'm gonna out do Brian". It wouldn't have crossed his mind. He got rid of the ego that surrounds megastardom decades ago. And the people I've met who had the fortune to meet him said he was just an incredbly friendly man.

+TDE TDE I feel for you. If it makes any difference, I cried, and most of my friends did. We shared Bowie's songs, we drew pictures, we made tribute playlists... and I realised that Bowie had brought us all together. The internet was one big support group, and it was all because we love this man so much. I'm crying writing this - but really, Bowie's gift to the world was to show us all that we can be whatever we want, and that his music is anything to anyone. Take that inspiration, and do something great with your life. David would be proud that he has a fan like you.

this song really hurts, i mean REALLY get to my soul! but eventhough i kind of feel happy and ready to take on the world after listening to this song. i can't derscribe it fully in word, it's kind of a psychadelic experience. i bow down to bowie and the guys from placebo, this is a song i listen to when i'm in my ''dark mode'' (happens way to often) and it kind of getting me out of dark mode and more into a more reflective mode where i can see the light of life. i really don't know what to say about this song other that it actually regurally changes my life for the better

Tik Tok, Tik Tok etc...... David just dives into this beautiful song. Sometimes, some singers seem to be destained (?) to meet & melt together. With Brian Molko & David Bowie this is surely the case. Thanks!
