As a Placebo fan since way back in 1998 I could never dream that they would return sounding so fresh, creative and utterly breathtaking. They sounded jaded on LLL and then a huge break from recording. This albums high spots are the best since the turn of the millennium for this band. It's also their most mature work to date and other than WYIN I would argue the best produced in terms of the atmosphere and dark melancholy it creates.

I discovered them in '96. Good to see another Placebo veteran still with the band. Front row in Tempe AZ May 10th next year!!

Excellent!! Great to hear new Placebo, I'm really enjoying these new tracks. Even though I'm "old" (almost 60), I grew up in the 60s and 70s, so have enjoyed great music for decades. Placebo are very underrated

I think they wanted to be underrated, they are a soulmate band. Just few can connect with his music in a deep level cause they are in their own kind of band/duo. And they don't need masses they can be better by being misunderstood (maybe)?

They are massiv in France and well known and appreciated all over Europe and other countries, so I wouldn't say they are underrated!

@@Jackguyver there's at least 5 good songs on Loud Like Love albeit the rest is rather forgettable, Battle For The Sun has some good harder rock vibes and I think Brian was trying to recapture the spirit of their first album but the songs themselves barring a couple just weren't punching as powerfully as the big riffs.

Thank you for expressing things I am not able to understand, Brian and Stefan. Thank you for always being there when I need you. This song is already in my top Placebo songs of all time.

This is a whole new level...Gave me goosebumps from the first second...

Powerful song

We the ones that love placebo, we all have monkey minds. Sour truth how we feel sometimes. Love it.

This song hits hard for me these days, with the feeling of not understanding my own mind. A monkey mind perhaps: overthinking and scattered, obsessed and anxious, horny and sad. Sometimes don't wanna feel nothing at all. Thank you Brian and Stef, as always. This is beautiful!!

I would recommend getting into natural adaptogenics. It has really helped me to feel stable, well and be functional. Research it and then try it out. It might take a while until you find the correct ones that fit your mind/mental health, but in the end it will be worth it as it makes a big difference. It has helped me to tapper down medications and to quit less healthy habits.
