Yo me acuerdo de mi hermano cuando la escucho porque aparte de que le gustaba esta canción, también fuma mucho.

Aún recuerdo cuando me amanecía viendo Mtv wake up hits, también cuando estaba en la secundaria y pasaban esta canción, la época cuando tenia mi primera novia y miraba skins, hahaha lo máximo

Cuando MTV estaba muy chulo , pasaba este temazo, estaba en la secundaria, todo empezaba a cambiar, los amigos , la rutina , el primer noviazgo , las primeras salidas para tomar algo, salían esos partidos y la cabeza en cualquier lado menos aqui. 🇦🇷👍

Para los que no saben el porqué del español. Se escribió esta canción mientras la banda estaba de vacaciones en Nicaragua 🇳🇮 ya que el vocalista que no habla español fumaba mucho solía decir « cenicero » cada vez que quería le llevaran el cenicero de ahí nació “mi cenicero, mi corazón”

Astray Heart era el nombre de la banda antes de llamarse Placebo. Lo del castellano será por la intensa relación de Stefan con España y en concreto con Madrid. Hace años tenía casa en Chueca e iba mucho por allí

El primer CD que compré con mi propio dinero fue el black market music de placebo y nunca me arrepiento de seguirlos escuchando, siendo sincero para mi sus primeros 3 discos son los mejores (sobre todo el primero) pero si algo tiene placebo es que en cada álbum siempre hay esa canción que hace que valga la pena escuchar una y otra vez, saludos a todos los hermanos con corazón de cenicero.

Gustav Giraldo not really, actually that is one of their worst songs. So I think that it is fair that other of their songs like nancy boy, pure morning or every me every you etc... are more famous. And generally speaking you can’t definitely say that Placebo are “underrated” since they were extremely mainstream during the ‘90s.

Recuerdo que tenía tantas ganas de que placebo viniera a Mexico estaba en la secundaria y salió el álbum battle for the sun y mi hermana y yo nos fuimos de Tamaulipas a la cdmx con mucho miedo jaja pero llegamos al palacio de los deportes y vimos a nuestro ídolo cantar , la mejor experiencia al lado de la mejor compañía te amo hermana ♥️♥️♥️

Esta canción me hace recordad mi última etapa de primaria, verlo pasar a cada momento en MTV, que recuerdos 😔😢

This brings good memories, when I was young I used to wake up really early bcs there was this music channel on tv that sometimes played Placebo songs, I didn't knew about them at the time, but the very first song I heard was Ashtray Heart on that channel, my 7 y/o foolish self used to think "hey, that lady with the pretty hair has a really nice voice, I like her songs a lot". To this day, I still can't overcome that when I was young I thought Brian was a chick hahaha

¡Cenicero, cenicero! ¡Mi corazón de cenicero! ¿Cómo olvidar cuando salió el álbum y me ayudó a lidiar con mi depresión de aquel entonces? Mi banda favorita por siempre.

Esta fue la primera canción que escuché de placebo, por allá en el 2009. Tenía 14 años. La esencia de la banda me intrigó y un par de años después me convertí en fan de todo su trabajo. Son 10 años de escucharlos con tanto amor y admiración, de sentirme identificada con muchas de sus letras. Aunque no es mi canción favorita, la recuerdo con mucho cariño.

Por fin encuentro está canción que escuchaba tenía 11 años que buenos recuerdos del 2009 con los demás programas de MTV

A penas descubrí está canción en 2019 y en serio esos meses en qué descubrí placebo fueron tremendamente magicos, aunque no haya sido adolescente cuando estaban en sus 'mejores momentos' y me tocó todo lo mucho más actual, si que han echo mi adolescencia ser interesante.

Que bueno que la música siga marcando a la gente de generación en generación. Cuando salió esta canción yo era preadolescente y me alegra saber que hoy en día a otros adolescentes actuales les significa lo mismo.

Profesor Francisco mi mejor amigo compartíamos el mismo gusto en este grupo estuvo apoyándome en mi era más oscura y triste. Áhora está en cielo una enfermedad terminal se lo llevó perdí si contacto tarde año en ubicarlo y me conseguí esa terrible noticia murió sólito en un hospital 😔😭 un homenaje para un gran ser.
