We would’ve lost anyway, but that refereeing was a disgrace. Wasn’t a free kick that led to their 2nd goal and should’ve had a penalty for the foul on Pedro.

Even Walker crashing into the GK in the lead up to Alvarez's goal is a foul. And the challenge by Gvardiol on Pedro, also a pen.

The referees are not even hiding it.

I am a City supporter. Honesty compels me to acknowledge that the referee gave us preferential treatment here, and that is unacceptable. Too many dubious calls went our way that the referee couldn't have missed. We likely would have won the game, but we don't need assistance from the ref. The big teams all seem to get the same preferential treatment, and it's just not right. Sometimes 8 minutes of exta time is added on at the end of games where the big teams are either tied or are trailing. The game seems to continue until the big team scores.

Ref was very lenient with City. That was a much needed help for City. Justice in this world is becoming an endangered species. Football is only a game though.

The Referees always on man city's side, they try hard to make man city win games easily.

I mean if Foden was awarded a penalty instead of a freekick it would've been overturned for diving. Instead he scored on a freekick, thats madness.

Five City players in the box, and still the Brighton keeper and defenders decide to try and tippy tap neatly around them. It's great to play with a clear style but, jesus christ, the risks of playing it out from the back in such situations are insane and I don't understand why it's become so taboo to thump the ball long to get out of danger.

EPL referees are clearly clueless or not good or intentional in cheating some clubs. How were those two not penalties for Brighton but Foden slipping on his own was a foul and one dubious decision in favour of Man City

The first goal was good and almost a bit of luck for city, which you just carry on from, but giving that freekick was pathetic, only to not give those pens, very inconstant refs. Some of the calls were really nudging city forward.

Im a city fan, but those two fouls should've been given PENALTIES..

Absolutely awful refereeing 1. 2nd Man City Goal Foden slipped so no free kick 2.Brighton deserved 2 pens 3.4 Goal was a handball 4.if their 2 goal wasn’t given we would of had more momentum and it should of ended at least 2-2 since 2 city goals no 2 Brighton pens and pedro dosent miss pens

Liverpool fan here and yet again another poor decison from a referee giving a foul, leads to a goal. Foden slipped and Curtis jones didnt make a foul that led to evertons 1st goal. Why does VAR start measuring in milimetres for offsides, but cant review basic and blatent fouls. All or nothing it should be !
