I joined the party for the third album then left prematurely when I became a dad and didn't have so much time for music anymore. Came back again when my kids grew up to see what I missed and I can see I missed the best bits. Spent my 2020-21 gig budget during Covid on the PJ Harvey vinyl reissues - every damn one of them. And currently reading "Orlam". Was lucky enough to see one of her readings this summer here in Denmark. Hope to see a live gig one day though. What's really annoying is that I missed her performance at Roskilde Festival one of the only two years when I was actually there.

When you are that close....the sound waves go right through you! I probably had my elbows on the metal gate, which vibrates...so I've learned to not do that and just take the pain in the arms...for the greater good :)
