    Omg, thanks! I've always wanted to try this, but sadly our local 7-11 aren't as cool as Japan ones. UPDATE: I tried it today and it was AMAZING! Although the dough was dry so I had little bit water until I get the right texture But I'm curious about one more thing. How come most buns recipes need another 30 mini of rest BEFORE they get steamed? While you're don't need that step.

    May I ask what flour you used? I want to make this in Australia but our all purpose flour has a lower gluten content than American ones (which I’m assuming this recipe uses). And the gluten content does affect the airiness of the dough... if you could tell me the brand that’d be great! Then I can start seeing if I need to look at more niche higher gluten flours

    @@emmanguyen351 I'm from North America, also use all purpose flour. But it's Robin Hood brand.

    I tried this recipe twice. The first time I blamed myself for the disastrous dough, the second time I took EXTRA, EXTRA care to follow the recipe exactly and it was still a mess. The wet to dry ingredients ratio is off. I ended up having to add water, tiny amounts at a time, until my dough was barely passable. That probably contributed to the dough being less flavorful than the version you get in combinis. The bottom layer of the pizzaman did not thicken up correctly which made for a thick doughy top and wafer-thin bottom. It was fun overall but not super tasty. I’ll be trying again with a different recipe.
