My favorite part in New Super Mario Bros. for the DS was when at the end of the stages, we'd destroy a Thwomp, and have to make a mad dash back to the beginning of the stage, with some elements changed... Good memories, and then Bowser would chase us if we didn't get out on time. Makes me nostalgic.

The MKDS Tick Tock Clock instrumentation for the ticking clock parts are absolutely brilliant. This is more than just a cover in a NSMB soundfont, it's a full on DS Mario style recreation. Magnificent work

​@@GolgentoiIt actually can sometimes. It's a lot harder than it seems. Every console has it's own operating system and code that has to be worked with, which means re-writing a lot of code for that version specifically. Not to mention hardware limitations can made things more difficult. There's a reason why some companies exist to JUST do ports.

Now im waiting for someone to mod pizza time into new super mario bros wii

I'm just imagining the end tower is at the start and when you get the flag at the other side the timer officially starts so you have to head back to the start to retrieve the flag and convert it as your own to complete the level
