You did an EXCELLENT job, I could not imagine a better job than yours. Thank you. We were going to return the printer soon, as there was no clarity how to install drivers, and the link they provided ended up not helping (wrong driver it seems, we have windows 7 not 10) and also, no instructions for setting up physical unit. We kept your video running beside the printer and we followed along step by step, pausing etc. Your speaking was slow and very helpful that way, not just your motions and steps and how you zoomed in on things. Thank you very much again.

I couldn’t see how you set on and off function. The printer is turning off automatically and I work via Remote Desktop so not at the printers location to turn on. How do I leave turned on ? Thank you for your setup video

Hello, i have the g3270 all in one wireless canon mega tank pixma printer, can i only load the black ink and not load the color ink bc i dont use my printer very often, i had to replace my older canon pixma printer bc the ink dried up inside and it cost more to repair than replace. I know i will use color sometime but i just wanted to know if printer would work only loading black ink? For now.

The printer has no real sensor to detect ink in this model, so theoretically you could with color print head installed. I have not tried it yet, but an interesting idea

I keep getting the 5100 errir and there is no foreign object

I followed all instructions that the app said to do and have been unable to hook up with my iPhone 12 Pro or my iPad Pro w m2 chip. So frustrating and there’s no port to plug into either. I bought the G3270. Any suggestions?

It is thermal inkjet, the black ink is pigment, the colors are dye

Is the g3470 better than the g3420 in printing quality?? The is a difference in price should I add more and get g3470? I wanna make planners and use it for everyday work

The ink is the same, but I see some minor improvements on print quality. I found the new screen much easier to operate.

hi! we keep getting the install printer head/ink head message even though we’ve repeated those steps several times. every time we close cover, it doesn’t let us move on and says the same message to install those - any guesses what could be wrong?

According to the specs it should work, not sure which regional version you have of G3070, second number is region based, but general specs should be same www.canon-europe.com/printers/pixma-g3470-series/specifications/ You can use it only via the app. I did video with another model, they are all similar kzread.info/dash/bejne/mn-ckpRmXangmJM.html

Did you follow all the procedure and some minutes for ink filling up the print head? If you open the printer cover, do you see ink in the tubes?

The connectivity setup and the canon app are atrocious. Spent 4 hours trying to set this thing up with no luck. Returning this paper weight and will buy another brand. Canon should be ashamed of themselves.

I tried others as well, not much better, lately in general is improving, but on basic models is still a nightmare
