LOVE how you add so much texture. That is so very important to those of us not blessed with thick beautiful hair. You can call salons near you and ask who gives the best Pixie cut in the salon and then check out their Instagram of Facebook to see if it's the style you are looking for. Good Luck my friend.

I had pixie cuts all from middle school and in 9th grade, Im growing my hair out to change it up tho :D

your haircuts are amazing! I wish I could get my hair cut by you do bad! I'm actually in the process of growing out my pixie and it's in the really awkward stage where I hate it all the time and I can't really do much to it, plus the back always grows so much faster than the front and it bugs me so much! Well a girl could dream lol great work!

+wonderjess2123 I went through that process this last year. The best tip I can give you is to keep your trip appt. You want to keep the nape of the neck short and the side trimmed while the top grows out because the last thing you want is a mullet. You may even try getting an undercut at the nape to gut down how often you go in for a trim. I really loved when I had that done. This was my fave style when I was growing out my shorter style. cute cute cute! I do one question...what do you do with those cute bangs when they don't need to be in your face? like for nurses....we work in some stuff that we can't push our hair out of our face while looking down working with a patient. any styling tips?

Getting a pixie cut was one of the best things I did this year. I don't think I could ever go back to long hair.

What products did you use to achieve this look? I saw you flat iron at the base for volume. I just had all of my hair cut off like this, but I naturally curly hair. I have curled it with a curling iron, I have flat ironed it straight, but it never comes out like messy beachy waves. I want this look, or like the Kaley curraco when she had the longer pixie. (probably spelled wrong)

+Carj Baquiran - Have you ever had a consult with a stylist. Meeting with a professional in person so they can touch your hair and assess your profile and everything is the best way to find a cut for your face shape.

+Kristin Monson Hair responds differently to scissors and razors so I just use whatever the hair responds better to. You also get different kinds of texture w each so If I want very ended texture I use razor and for more control I use scissors

Hello!! The past few months I've been thinking about cutting my hair, and I finally made the appointment to get it all cut off in two weeks! I have long curly hair that goes down to the small of my back. I haven't gotten more than a trim in five years, so as you can imagine I am pretty nervous! I want a longer pixie, because I have curly hair. I've had a consultation with my stylist, and I've been searching for pictures online like crazy. I do have a major fear of getting my hair cut though, which is one of the reasons I am doing it. Do you have any advice to prepare myself for the big cut?

+Pikachu Hachoo - if you're willing to invest in good products to help you style it and time to spend flat ironing/curling it then you can totally go for it. Bc you have thick hair though I will be totally honest and say that it will take more time and effort to style and manage but it's totally doable if you factor in the extra time. not like hours or anything, just an extra 10-15 min.
