Great video. Would I be able to see something through reeds or behind branches?

Through one or two layers of reeds, or a bit of foliage: Yes.... kind of! The bits you'd see are the parts of the animal or bird that are between the foliage, obscured by shadow, that would be impossible to see with the naked eye or glass. The music is probably a bit loud isn't it - I'll notch it down for the next one. I do get the Mike Oldfield reference by the way but I'll have to take your word on where else you might have heard it.
