I can fully get around the idea that the US government would need to hire professional gamers to help defeat an alien force using video game tactics. It’s stupid but believable in this scenario. Ok I'll be honest, the only joke in this movie I find funny is the one where he opens the door at the kid's house. I don't know why but the soulless delivery of "If I want to get paid, yes." is just fucking hilarious for some reason

Yeah. In my opinion "Click" has such a good premise but the movie is barely over 5/10

I watched this when I was 15 at the theatres, and I remember really liking it. Nothing amazing or anything but it was pretty fun. Looking at it now, I think the problem comes from the "Adam Sandler Humor". The concept and plot is actually can be really good if executed properly

Also, talking to a friend on discord is not the same as playing a video game. You can just talk to them while playing games with them like splitscreen.

The movie is actually based on a five minute short that has the same concept and all the cool VFX, but no Adam Sandler (or dialogue for that matter). It's miles better.

Maybe then it could have an actual heartfelt scene where the real Toru Iwatani confronts Pac-Man and they actually reconcile with Pac-Man nodding to his speech and then eating up into the sky.

I remember me and my brother went to see this movie and since my parents didn’t wanna go see it my grandpa went with us. I was surprised to see Duck hunt and my brother was happy. My grandpa was in his 70’s. Either he didn’t know what was going on or slept through the whole thing. I feel so bad, that I need to apologize.

I've been binging your videos for the past 5 hours please stop being so entertaining I have work to do.

It’s funny when a movie about gamers does a scene where a kid is playing on a PS4 and the controller is clearly not on

It always bugged me when everyone for some reason agreed that Adam Sandler's character sucked at Donkey Kong. SECOND PLACE DOESN'T TRANSLATE TO SUCK

Yeah Pixels was ok but there were many men who watched "Jack and Jill." And not many survived its brutality.
