One thing that has always annoyed me is having to constantly upgrade weapons every time you level up, I miss the old 3 star upgrading system.

5 biggest issues for me and probably lower level players 1. Game progression sucks - you can't get anything good if you just passively play matches. You are forced to maximize everything you have, and that can put off a lot of casual players. Daily quests are random, gem rewards suck, and trying to get coins this way is diabolical. 2. Weapons - not event weapons, but rather normal armory weapons. You can't have an all armory weapon loadout forever, because almost all the weapons there suck. They don't stand a chance against ""the meta"" 3. Matchmaking - this one should be obvious, putting level 65 players on lower level lobbies. I'm sure some people have experienced someone getting 40 kills while everyone else has only 5 or 10. Matchmaking should put you purely with players 1 or 2 levels higher than you. 4. Clan (anything) - why does this feature exist? clan weapons and clan armor is a stupid concept. Clans should be dissolved and replaced by something better. 5. "The meta" - this games balance has gotten so bad that weapons that literally one shot you are the norm, and weapons like the wave pulser can exist. There needs to be a system (yes, a balancing system) to determine what stats a weapon is going to have and how it would fit among other weapons; so basically, if a weapon is going to have a special effect like weakening, the weapon should have trade-offs to account for that added effect. weapons without effects will have more raw damage than weapons with effects. Last note, poison, fire, radiation and those other special attributes should have better tick. The tick we have now is way too slow and inefficient. For some weapons it should take effect very fast.

I think of it as a good thing though, means I found a new audience without needing to "bring my other audience" over kinda thing :) I think what he's saying is, he's done with PG3D so everyone should be. I onced encountered a hacker that has aimbot and infinite health, not only did they hit like a truck, but they're also hard to kill (being an immortal player makes for an annoying challenge).

0:43 we all love this game as much as you do ecko and we all hate the game for the reasons everyone else does, through all the issues this game is really fun

top 5 issues 1. hackers (no explanation required) 2. incredibly expensive everything (weapons are 700-900 gems, 150 key chests give 50 parts, wth?) 3. way too many maps (playerbase is spread thin, only the top maps have full lobbies youll end up w bots 90% of the time) 4. broken weapons (barrier, weakening, bonus points, etc) 5. one shot spam (being able to spam switch between high damage weapons like harsh punisher and ultimatum just completely outclasses any other play except broken weaponspam and makes the game a “try to get as many spam one shot kills before you die in 3 seconds to a one shot” simulator)

Honorable mention: the completely oblivious community who took more than a year to realize this game is descending into madness, but still will play it anyways bcz it really seems like they just don’t care :/. Hell if you check some vids of pg during the 10th anniversary u’ll see my comments on how ridiculous the game was xD

@@aceyyyyyy Oh yeah no its been dying since some time after 2015-2019 but I wasn't really there for that. I came back in 2020 and frankly I couldn't have cared less back then it was a fine game and playing with friends was fun, but when all your friends quit because this game has become the same generic bullsht, its a "little" annoying. The anniversary was when I thought people would really rage from how stupid the devs were but no... they just completely passed everything away that happened (insane price rises that were supposedly just because of the anniversary (hehe no...), a unsolved hacker situation, and lazy fugin devs who didn't give two fucks about anything the community wanted except for weapons (which were generic ulti and meta weps begging), etc) and continued to say its fineeee

The player base isn't spread thin because of the maps, they are spread thin because of how the level system implements a form of skill based match making. They need to entirely rework or remove the level system. The level system is what makes the game incredibly painful and a huge turn off for new players. Pixel gun has the worst model imaginable for a game.

@@dhdd9395 bro the level 50 matchmaking pairs u with 65. Not a single team fight, deathmatch, or a majority of modes contributed to my successful grind from 50-65, but a fcking “green light” mini game lmfao

the balancing is also a massive problem as well wave pulser, second life vacuum, rusted revolver, and then with every new addition of weapons comes even more broken weapons. it feels like they dont even playtest with the weapons to make sure they're fair, either that or they intentionally make then overpowered to encourage people to spend money to get them as quick as possible. it may be good for a quick buck, but in the long term it wont help the game's reputation or playerbase. people will get tired of it and quit. it may be gradual, but it will happen. once the f2p players go, the p2w players will have nobody to abuse their overpowered weapons on. then they will go as well, one by one.

Happened to me as well they don’t care I started modding too I lost an account that I created from 2015

The time I had the most fun Pixel Gun 3D was when the Judge was in the game. Not the 1 shot side of things but the fact that you can just fly around, it was so cool and refreshing... But they removed it, they could've just made it 2 shot. Also why did they change coop? It was so fun to just weapon spam trying to get to number 1, and not be locked to 1 weapon and why the monsters do so much damage now bruh. I think what I'd love to see come is a open world city where there's so damage and you can just fly around with the judge with your friends/players. Just for chill you know. And also the old pg3d feels so much better, the new pg3d sensitivity feels too slow on phone. I'd also love to see more akimbo weapons, don't have to be op just cool akimbo weapons.

Pixel gun was so much better when 3 cat spam wasnt even a thing and players were just playing to have fun and not be the best and ruin the game for others I remember when the jetpack was goated and you could oneshot players and there was actually cool maps like ants life Movement back then was way better now you can barely jump without paying 5$ for better shoes or smth Also the weapons they released back then fitted into the game now they just look like theyre running out of ideas (wtf is the superior race set) The effects weapons had back then were also normal like wallbreak or poison now they turn you into a cockroach or boost you forward if you reload and spin in a circle 3 times

It’s sad. This game just isn’t worth anyone’s time anymore. 😞

I also do enjoy playing the game but the hacker situation just makes it worse and what the developers are doing just makes me lose motivation to even play the game and just makes me want to move on from Pixel Gun 3D.

After 6 years of playing PG3D I quit the game last week. The main reason is not having separate PC and mobile player pools. I don’t wanna pull out a laptop, kb/mouse just to get an even playing field! Hackers are bad enough but this makes the game unplayable. RIP PG3D. Separate pc and mobile and maybe players will return. But too late for me…

i think the pixel gun devs know that they should spend alot of their money to hire people to make them an anti cheat but theyre trying to do it themselves which makes this process more time consuming and it just takes longer

Hey ecko i love your videos i actually injoy them. The only thing is i cant get my mind out of the things the devs have been doing thats why i quit. I tried to adapt to it and i did for a few days... Then they made the ad rewards lower and slowly the events starts to become p2w or the rewafs from it becomes mediocre. The only change i love was the lottery it, but even though i did quit i love your videos bro honestly you're the only pg youtuber i watch now. I tried but devs keep ruining it for us players its just annoying, you deserve more attention thanks:D

Only reason why I’m not playing this game right now is because I can’t transfer my data from android to iOS which I think is something they can fix so easily and I ain’t starting a new account when I already have a maxed levelled one with over 700 weapons

Ecko the servers crashed yesterday at like 10 i think nobody could shoot the time was at 0 and everyone was just chilling

first game i played there was a guy that launched me in the air with every blinding and every other effect in the game and i just kept floating up

11:30 whats crazy is how pixel gun used to have a built in recording button and removed it I believe in late 2014 or early 2015. either way you were able to record your own game inside the game so mixing that with the report function isn't asking for much.

Hackers/Modders, they're one huge factor to the game's downfall, but other than that, another big factor to the game's decline is the developers. Their poor game management is what caused the players to hack and mod the game. I've been waiting patiently for nearly 3 years, actively giving out suggestions to improve the game in their discord server for 2 years, and my result? A permanent ban. So it's safe to say that it will be long until the devs starts to care and fix the game, because 2 years is definitely not enough. It's really sad to see a decent fps game being ruined by its own creators

Godspeed to you ecko for continuing to tackle the game and its issues. it really feels like an uphill battle, and even as a rather patient adult myself i have began to distance myself from playing the game. even with a sizable inventory i'm unable to experiment with different loadouts due to how rampant the meta is. i do strongly wish for the gamestate to improve but only time will tell for that.

PG3D developers watch this video and be like: *"what is this guy yapping about? oh well, LET’S RELEASE A BETTER DEADLY ICICLE"*

An in game report system would be amazing. Shoulda been like that for a while. Also i feel like they should implement an ip ban as all a hacker has to do when they hack is make a new account. My number 1 biggest issue is free 2 play for people who dont know exactly what to do My number 2 biggest issue is durability, i think max armor should only be over 100 for very specific armors at the tradeoff of movement speed. My number 3 biggest issue is the lazy modeling they call "the new style" (its literally just doing straight lines and curves instead of actually pixelating the PIXEL guns) Number 4 is that max fov is only 90

Ive been playing since 2015, stopped playing in 2019, returned in 2022, and then quit again due to all the problems. This game is slowly dying and nothing is being done by the creators. The PC port only slowed that process down a bit for a while, now it's going downhill again.

Balancing is my biggest gripe with the game. Needs major changes, we need a few community members to get hired, they would literally volunteer their time into making things more balanced. Though apparently when developers release new weapons, the balance team currently doesn't even get a say in what the damages and stats are. This is why stuff like rusted revolver, noble porcelain, arctic soul devourer make it through balancing yet are so broken compared to every other weapon in the game (this is all hearsay however).

Ive been playing since 2013 and in 2019 my original/ legit account got banned. I made a new one and damn its so hard for new and ftp players then in 2019 and more now. I may have max level and alot more weapons then in my old account but what pisses me off is how my legit account was banned when there are so many hackers are still running around.

I got falsely banned like 3 weeks ago I went back and forth on the developer's I have a strong assumption they didn't know why they banned be just that they're automated system detected something they did unbanned me but they rolled back 2 weeks worth of work I still to this day dont understand why they banned me or why they reverted 2 weeks of progress

I’ll list out what I think are the top 5 problems that need to be addressed. 1: Constant flow of new weapons make the game quite literally impossible to balance. I enjoy that pixel gun’s thing is having lots of weapons, but having over 1,000 is completely overkill. Especially when most people only use around 10. 2: 3 Category spam is as broken as ever. I personally think it’s an awesome playstyle but people abuse it and add broken armor, gadgets, shotguns, 100 mobility, etc. you have to tryhard to enjoy the game past level 40. 3: the matchmaking is awful. In most of my lobbies, it’s a mixture of casual players with decent weapons, competitive players with great weapons, a few bots, and 1 or 2 people who get 90% of the kills. And the games gives you bot lobbies when you lose too much, I’m assuming to figure out what matchmaking you belong in, but it doesn’t work because the bots are so easy to demolish. 4: some of the new weapon changes just seem useless to me. I greatly appreciate developers being open with the community, that’s one thing they do best, but some of the changes they do to less powerful weapons just seem like the result of one of the developers having fun with the code during a lunch break and not bothering to change it back. 5: when was the last time you got a new weapon that wasn’t mythical? Mythic weapons aren’t special anymore because all weapons are mythical now. I personally think most of the problems with the game stem from a larger issue, that being pixel gun’s pretty toxic community. Of course not all pixelgunners are annoying trolls who don’t have anything better to do than spend all their money on broken gear to artificially make themselves seem more skilled, but it’s been a pretty good chunk of the community for a very long time, and it’s only gotten worse with time, and using busted gear is the tip of the iceberg. Loads of people sell shady mods, some even doing it for free, with the goal to shut the game down. The modding scene has problems with doxxing, racism, bigotry, and extortion.

as a cjeater i can confirm i can still kill everyone automatically in a lobby and the game doesnt give a few fks but unlimited fire rate kicks me out of the game (full auto ultimatum)

Hi, Pixel gun has actually updated and better their anti cheat! I use mod menus for fun and now my accounts get banned within 1-2 days however I do currently have an account that wasn’t yet so it is kind of questionable but at the same time some of my accounts got banned within 2 hours! A few months ago my modded accounts lasted for about 3 months! Good luck!!!

idk me personally i wanted to try it and gave myself level 63 to not be suspicious and like the best guns in the game 2 months ago and im still safe, i really dont think their 5000 players banned is even true

Honestly this situation is strikingly similar to what tf2 is going through right now. TF2 is also filled with hacking bots that instakill everyone and votekick anyone whos not a bot, and valve made claims they were gonna fix it 2 years ago and never did. Now pg devs have their game filled with hackers and super broken weapons that make the game borderline unplayable, but they dont care as long as its generating income, theyll let it sit as is because they dont care about the players experience of the game. Lets be for real here, do you really think they dont know how broken the stuff theyre introducing is? Its really sad to see old iconic games go downhill like this due to developer negligence.

I feel to be as the devs would be doubling down with unnecessary changes and be as inconsist with many features. Obviously the community can disagree with some changes but there's some that many players would want to see such as confirming purchases and account transfer from one OS to another. Yet these features would probably never be implemented at all or even take years to do. Instead, they would do is make unnecessary changes that would affect the community in a negative direction with no point of listening to the criticism and just go forward with the change that no one asked for it. I'm still playing this game for years and have been unbiased as I can without throwing shade towards them. But it's just unfortunate to see part of the community express their criticism toward the game that I can agree with. You can't really sugar coat the reality of the game unless the devs step in for once. Even with that, the real question is: Are the devs even committing to help the game and listen to us or just focus on season content with muting the community criticism.

i'm glad pg3d is still standing despite all the hate, yes i'm still playing it til this day. In fact i reached to like around level 40 and still bared with the amount of OP weapons of stuff. I do hate the game at times when people could just instantly kill you, however I also love the game and how it brought a community for awhile before things went downhill, nontheless, I'm still glad to play it in 2024 :)

I wonder how many new players this game actually retains. As soon as I reached level 50 I started being put into level 65 lobbies against people who have like 5+ years accounts and it just kinda killed my enjoyment and any semblance of motivation I had to play.

Devs don’t understand the hackers can make a new acc in the next 1 min after they got their other acc banned. 😢

Pixel gun 3d needs to introduce IP bans so when hackers ruin the game and when the developers find out about it they will get thier IP banned so they wont be able to play the game on any device nor pixel gun, google and steam account on the same IP adress and also they wont be allowed to visit the pixel gun 3d website when the hackers that got IP banned attempted to visit the website it will say access denied or this page is not working.

@@potato3457 it will only kill the game in the short run due to the sweats bitching about it but eventually it will become more casual friendly because the skill gap is lower My guy the best sniper in the game is literally paywalled behind a starter pack, the noble porcelain is paywalled behind a battlepass same as the dragoneer

Ecko this game has too many issues , i still don't understand why they didn't fixed the latency issue they have since 2013 😅 The only game that ur able to kill each other at the same time is pg3d no other game has that problem 🗿 Clans are a complete mess , too many unreleased features , they completely changed the war system and ruined clans. Many broken and many weapons that needs a buff.. Basically this game has a lot of things to do but the devs are still continuing with the same stuff yay! 😂

I really do want to see the game getting better, but the fact that it is P2W it can be really hard for F2P players, so I have an idee. When u get a new weapon, you mostly care about the damage but if its less powerfull you wont use it and its sad. But, we can make them usefull depending on the map with a buff. Like, you have world war weapon, if you use it in like D-day, your weapon will deal more damage. In conclusion, more weapons will be usefull and the maps become a part of the strategy. It can be a cool innovation, no?

As someone who recently got back. Yes i cheated in game. But just for the coins n gems and just to get my weapons ive had before and or the og ones. Thats all. Everything else gameplay wise is just skill. Actual cheating like aimbot etc is dumb. No point in doin so.
