I've been using the Pixel 8a for a couple days now and honestly it's been great. Sure it isn't flagship or anything but it does everything I need it to do. The form factor is great, I miss using a phone with one hand. The bezel doesn't bother me at all, I barely even notice it.

Googles stack of devices is quite perfect imo. With rumors of the 9 having a smaller 9 pro (which I would have loved to see a while ago), having to not lose all the amazing core functionality and still have a great main camera (lets face it, 99% of our shots are shot "in the moment" and we just use the main) is fantastic news. Crazy how everyone in my family now and extended family has a pixel. Its been my go to recommendation for people who just need a good "smart" phone that can take good pictures too.

Love this whole review. Still rocking my Google pixel 7A and the 8A is also a great option. I'm still going to stick with my phone though. Hopefully Google will continue to update it. Circle to search has been my most used feature this year. I actually use it for a very specific reason. When I need to highlight text in a video or search for a song, I can just press and hold on the home button instead of having to do the old multitasking method

I'm not josh but if it was my money I would buy the pixel. One good reason when u spend your money u need a company that will take care of u. In a year if you have a problem Google will replace it. Having said that u might not need the pro so why not consider buying this and get a device with 7 years of updates and save some money. I would just buy the 8a and choose the color you like. During the review, your phone is not seen using the case. Does the daily phone also not use a case?

Here in Portugal there's been some agressive deals of the Pixel 8A, i got mine a week ago for only 299€, some people even got it for less, after trading in an old device, for this price there's no phone on the market with this kind of camera (specially for photos) and software + AI features.

Indeed, €214 in Vodafone, bought 4! One for each member of the family! Everyone's super happy with the phone.

Nice review...its a nice phone but the pixel 8 and even the Pixel 7 which i have is a better buy!

Just bought it really love the phone chin bothers me a little but not anything really bad charging speed don't matter much cause I charge at night it lasts whole day with 8+hrs screen on time at place where temp is 30+°c

Didnt mention how many charge you did for a day

Ngl, I think the screen bezel are a non issue

Same. Visibly there’s not much difference. Physically, it means you’ll have less accidental touches along the edges of the screen.

to me camera looks good enough and is upgrade of my 8.1 nokia with zeiss camera.. i mean its not amazing but iphone 15 max neither.. if you want to zoom in good and get high quality pictures you should not use phones for that

Bad PWM, 2015 bezels, Gorilla glass 3, really google? poor battery life, Exynos (sorry, Tensor), slow charging, slow finger print sensor, for $500? No thanks.

You can always pick not interested on the homepage and it should not show Pixel phones anymore.
