You can put your old Android phone near the new Pixel phone and they will wirelessly connect to each other to transfer the data. It's like magic. Not sure what the process for iPhones is.

Do u have to use a password or can u unlock the phone with out one

you dont have to use it to unlock your phone, but you still need to set one up
