Hi, this is Stephen Key and Andrew Krauss. We are here to help you make money from your ideas. We started our company inventRight over two decades ago to teach people how to license (aka rent) their ideas to companies in exchange for royalties.
This process is called “product licensing.”
On our channel, we show you exactly how you to take an idea and license it to companies in exchange for passive income.
Today, you do not have to start a business to make money from an idea.
With product licensing, you don’t have to write a business plan, raise money, manufacture, market, sell, or distribute any longer.
Visit our website inventRight.com for more information.

Stephen, thank you, this is the exact video I was looking for in my situation. How amazing is it that you just posted this 2 days ago? I'm commenting this from a hotel room at a trade show getting contacts to send information to! I've followed all of the advice from your 3 books and your KZread channel to file 2 PPAs and 1 Trademark! I was stuck on the next part: Okay, I met the right person, and I have their contact info, but I can't just send them everything right? Now I know to say how great it was to meet them, and politely ask if we can sign a standard mutual NDA to protect both of our interests, and they will likely provide one, and we can move forward from there. Thank you Stephen! Edit and thank you Andrew and the team for all of your help!

Informative. Great. Please do more such videos. Focus more on terminologies and information we will need to know a product developer. Also make more on how to write a good business-perspective PPA (with examples). Thanks.

How long should we expect to wait for a response once a company reviews your sell sheet/email for consideration....2 weeks - 3 weeks? & what should we do in the meantime thankyou :)

It all really depends on the time of year, the category, the complexity of your product idea to evaluate. You should ask them.

@@jessenorthcutt9926 You're correct that Stephen refers to refiling a PPA. However, he refers to it as a Last Case Scenario, in case you have not got your product to market within that year of filing your PPA. And he only refers to it because he mentions that if you got an NDA (Non DISCLOSURE Agreement) then technically you have not PUBLICLY DISCLOSED your idea from your PPA, and therefore you would have the LEGAL RIGHT to refile :) hope that helps! And someone please correct me if I got anything wrong!

Shouldn’t you have your own corporate attorney look at their nda and make track changes if need be before you sign it? If you make it that far with a large company? Seems logical and as you said gives appearance of professionalism. Hopefully wouldn’t anger the company but if they’re interested they’re interested it would seem. Thanks Stephen!

Most NDA’s that are provided by large companies won’t change some of the issues. Could you imagine them changing things and their NDA for every person.
