@@gabethecool On the bright side, fnaf is not over. We just have to hope whoever Scott chooses does not RUIN THE FRANCHISe.. But I’m with you. I cried too. It’s hard when you stuck with the franchise for seven years.

I am so happy for Scott being able to retire so he can spend time with his family and that he is letting the FNAF franchise continue in other hands. It comes from the bottom of our hearts when we say “WE LOVE YOU SCOTT!!!”

I saw a meme about Scott's retirement and yes I'm happy for him but, dude that made me cry..... it's in Spanish..... But remember in Toy Story 3 that Andy gave his toys to Bonnie? And Andy went into the car and drove off. And Woody says "So long, partner..." Yeah, that part hit me HARD.

#ThankYouScott . The man is a legend and he deserves all the love and appreciation he gets. It's sad how a different political stand point can make a community turn on you. We're all greatful for what he's done for us, for game devs, the fans, the charity, artists, youtubers, everyone. Scott will continue to be one of my biggests inspirations and I'm happy he'll have more time for his family and himself. I'm happy I'm in this community for nearly 9 years old and I'll continue to look foward to fnaf related content, from Scott, or not. I agree with you for the most part but politics can dictate lives, its not like who your favourite celebrity is, hell if he had doubled down on it things would be alot worse, however after reading his post it seems he trully just doesnt believe he is harming lgbt despite he is, point is a political opinion can and should cause people to distrust you if youbelieve a certaim group of people should die, that being said scott doesnt, however tje fact he supports people who does cant be ignored

Scott made a unique series. I hope he has a happy life. I honestly hope Scott still will write the STORY for fnaf, but will not be involved with the games. I am not hoping he will not be involved with the games, but it is confirmed that he wont. I HOPE he still writes the story of fnaf, though.

While it saddens me greatly that he's retired, it also makes me happy. Bittersweet. He chose to dedicate the rest of his time to his family and be there for them. Very admirable in my opinion.

I'm happy that he's not letting his retirement interfere with the fnaf games. I'm excited to see how the style of the future animatronics is gonna change. Although we will miss him I'm excited to see what's to come. I wish him a congratulations for his retirement and I'm very grateful that he carried these games and spent all this time creating games for other people's enjoyment. And yes I do agree Steel wool would be a perfect fit. Scott also inspired me to wanna create games when I'm older. Im so happy I found this community and his games create my happiness. Without him I don't know what I would be. I would like to thank him for his time here. He did an amazing job. I just hope he keeps us all updated every once in a while so we can keep up with his life too but I'm sure he's already thought about that. Thank you for being that amazing person we all needed. We will miss you have a happy life Scott.

It's sad that Scott's retiring. Whilst he can hopefully enjoy his life with his family, I doubt that the scumbags that caused this is just going to settle with him just retiring. They don't like freedom of thought and tend not to just stop at "hey, I don't agree with what you did". These people want him scrubbed off the face of the earth and won't see this as the victory they wanted. They'll want more and will either continue the onslaught or find someone else to attack.

I didn't know that Scott had retired after three weeks or so of this being announced and that is very heartbreaking for me as Scott and fnaf is the entire reason why I love scary things like fnaf and it's so sad that he's retiring so I hope he found a great company or person(hopefully steel wool) to continue on his legacy and I think you where able to calmly say the news in such a nice way that it didn't upset me but made me happy so great job
