Hello friends,
In this video we are going to see what is Piston ring, what are the function of piston rings, material of ring and its types.
A piston ring is a metallic ring that is attached to the outer diameter of a piston in an internal combustion engine.
The main functions of piston rings are:
1. Sealing the combustion chamber so that there is minimal loss of gases to the crank case.
2. Improving heat transfer from the piston to the cylinder wall.
3. Maintaining the proper quantity of the oil between the piston and the cylinder wall
4. Regulating engine oil consumption by scraping oil from the cylinder walls back to the sump.
Piston rings are commonly made from cast iron. Cast iron retains the integrity of its original shape under heat, load, and other dynamic forces.

Piston ring ka kaun sa surface TDC se BDC main kaam karta hai aur BDC se TDC mein kaun sa karta hai

Sir top ring ko lubricant kaha se milta hai

Top ring ko lubrication cylinder wall se milta hai. Jab piston Top se Bottom tak move krta hai to lubrication ring cylinder wall par oil laga deti hai... Sath ke sath har stock mai T.D.C mai available oil fuel k sath hi burn ho jata hai jis karan engine wall par carbon deposit ho jati hai.
if oil scraper rings are placed up and down what will happen

Oil ring can not stop high inside pressure.. so may be gases can leaks... And oil will burn continuously

Engine Oil ka color kala esliy ho jata hai kyuki ye continues friction bear karta hai jiske sath sath oil mai dust aur carbon particles bhi eske color change ka karan hai...

I think Hindi speaking creators make the video titles in English so as to reach a larger audience and get more views on their channel. I don't think they understand how being disingenuous hurts their viewership
