The Stries hat! We know how I love that one ❤. It’s such a fun quick knit. 😳 wow that electric purple/blue skein is amazing!! Totally understand your losing steam on the twists and turns shawl. I abandoned it too, on a later clue though. Emily, yours is stunning!

Oh my gosh! Back to back episodes...how wonderful to watch. I have not knit a Stephen West pattern but I love that Penguono of yours Julia so I might have to put that on my list and pick one of the shawls you showed...a smaller one for sure. I can't wait to see all your other knits...which ones you loved to knit and are favorites to wear. Big fan of Emily's colours and recently added a few hot barbie pink items to the wardrobe so who doesn't love barbie pink. See you both soon I hope.

I lovelove to hear about the french knitting world in a language, I am more comfortable with - excuse my french 🙈 Also fallen into the rabbit hole of exploring all the la bien Aimee yarns and colors and patterns! I live in northern Germany, so going on a holiday to France is a favorite of mine. What a great episode seeing all your Westknits! I, too, count the Penguono as my all time favorite knit and you’ve given me the desire to get started on another one. My first was at in DK and worsted and quite heavy so I’m going to go the route you did using fingering with suri alpaca (not a fan of mohair). And if Marled Magic didn’t have brioche I’d do that one too. Could you just substitute another stitch pattern for the brioche? (I don’t have pattern yet so maybe he gives options for brioche substitutions) Can’t wait to see your MKAL start. I’m not jumping in so will be fun seeing everyone’s progress. His patterns are never boring!

I’m not sure if I will be doing the Stephen West MKAL either, I’m already to start but I’m going to follow it first and then decide, I’m still at part 3 from last years I just could not get into it either, we will see. ❤
