You are the only person to mention that. The ball wasn't knocked out of the catcher's glove. It was in his hand and he was showing to the umpire when Bellinger's arm accidentally knocked it loose. he was out and the replay officials blew the call. My question is, in football and baseball, how can they blow a slow motion replay which was shown over and over on television to the fans and which was obvious?

This is missing the call under review part of the game. It was a great game to be at. First time singing Go Cubs Go at Wrigley.

Great game and pitchers duel. The safe call for Bellinger after review was wrong though. The ump show has been insane this year, and when the review team in New York gets it wrong too it’s a tough scene

That’s allowed at the plate, if it’s just part of the slide, which it was. Watch old baseball, runners used to be able to run over the catcher like a freight train, and if the catcher dropped it at any point, runner is safe.

They're actually really solid as bench guys. Of course they're not as good as your all star caliber starters, but that's why they're bench guys.

They showed the replay dozens of times. The foot touched the plate before the tag was applied. That was called on the field and it was CONFIRMED on replay. A bunch of sour grapes by the Pirate fans on a correct call.
