I think it’s clear they knew who it was but didn’t want to spoil the reveal . Elle Golding literally told them it was him and they pretended that never happened

⁠@@dwaynedibley997the fact she was sure wasn’t gonna persuade the other judges, she isn’t exactly a master in the field. The majority of people didn’t know he could even sing as he was just a pretty boy in a boyband lol

Fantastic vocalist for sure but not sure I'd go as far as to say best ever.

never watched this show but I’m so glad Danny is getting the recognition he deserves, I always loved his singing so much in McFly

Possibly THE best contestant ever on TMS.....Especially the first performance and the performance of the sam smith song...and that duet with Fawn just blew my mind....

There's always been something really special about Danny's voice 👌

❤ in my opinion Danny is fantastic, at times sooo underrated, his voice and range is amazing. His tone is to die for. A really top vocalist, a master of his craft.

I'm so proud to say I've been a fan of this man for 21 years I knew it was Danny from week one

Same, I was watching it with my 12yo son (who is also a fan), and we just looked at each other and went "I know that voice!" No hesitation as to who it was.

Danny can sing literally anything! ❤ I got chills on just about every single song he sang….not a flaw anywhere!

I love how all the McFly fans knew who it was from the start. Danny really does have such an amazing and distinctive voice. I hope he got some new fans out of this.
