this is the most english title for a video game i've ever seen

I know I've tweeted you about this game before. I know I'm the only one who finds it hilarious and wishes it was a whole series. I accept that. But I've been watching it over and over because I'm going on a business trip from the US to England for 2 weeks, and I just keep laughing to myself about "I just want to be clear: England is not actually this English. NO part of England is actually this English!" It just kills me every time. And the horse-cleaning bit makes me laugh till I cry.

I’m here a bit late but just wanted to say thank you so much for making this. I played this as a kid and I was hysterically laughing at everything you said!!!

Love how much this guy seems to be enjoying this game. Loved it as a child and finding it hilarious to notice things I haven't before due to the commentary.

As someone who spent a horrific six months on her high school equestrian team, Jon's constant state of confusion here rivals my own. Amazing.

I also have to comment on the amount of times I cringed at that "Learning to groom" scene. Jon, if you stab a hoofpick into the middle of a horses foot, (also known as the frog) it will go lame and you will have a near useless horse for a while. It's not Fallout, killing isn't the idea here, be nice to the poor girl! :-D

There was mention of the elusive Pippa Funnell in the Teardown stream so I've come here to witness what I can only assume is something more glorious than Valhalla itself.

Many A True Nerd The thing is, it's so run down right now that nobody would pay much for it. And the aunt has basically locked you out of the inheritance unless you do the horse stuff anyway, if I understand what lizard-man was saying. So it's one of THOSE inheritances.

That name... It sounds like it's from either a cheap Swedish or Finnish (in this case written by a Fennoswede or whatever you call a Finn who also speaks Swedish as their first/second language by nature in English) horse stable series aimed at young girls (like 8-15, usually growing up with the protagonist(s) in the book). There are plenty of books like that, like the ones written by the Jalo sisters and gods know how many other authors and books... I used to work at a library, and even at the local small library there were like a dozen different series...

Holy cow! This game totally questions the definition of 'living'. If only I had an aunty with a horse farm in which I can burn.

From England and also have Beaumont as surname, can confirm we are not at all that posh. (This is at least known in Kent)

I can't believe I didn't see this video when it was posted. Such a shame for me to have not seen this incredible funny video. How would I react if I boasted to new subscribers about "being here before it was cool" if I missed a couple of videos? Well, at least I have a new video to watch instead of re-watching the same series again and again. That is something that happens a lot with MATN's videos, I see the posts on my subscription feed but I don't recognize the thumbnails when it isn't a series I am familiar with. Oh, judging by the voice sound only, Davy voice actor is the same that does Allistair in Dragon Age Awakening.

My family runs a stud farm in Staffordshire.... Our horses have been sold all over England and we are very proud, BUT.... I love the individual personalities of our horses, but hate the species as a whole. At one point we had 24 of them, if you include the foals, and we had to make them all a hay-net, one for that night and one for the next morning, and each a bucket of food, again one for night and another for breakfast the next day, which had seven different ingredients, and in winter the sugar beet freezes solid and so does the automatic waterers for the horses to drink out of, which meant that you had to get the hosepipe which was also near permanently frozen. As you can probably sense, I'm not too fond of the business. I actually have this game. I play it and laugh at how easy the Player Character gets it.

No offense Jon, but shift is used for run most of the time because most PC gamers don't have a problem with it. You can always rebind it to capslock or something else.

When you get a chance you should check out I am bread. Not trying to be rude, if your computer is able to run it and /or if might interest you.

ok my fan art idea. Jon is riding an elephant (Far cry 4) with a halo (fallout NV no kill) and devil horns (fallout NV kill everything) with a magnifying thingy (L.A Noire) while dodging a bullet (FNV YOLO no healing run) and a fireball from bioshock infinite in the other while saying Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen (intro) and a bird saying "notice me jonpie..." (from Hatouful boyfriend) and he's next too a "no guns" sign (Mass effect no guns)

What’s hilarious is I decided to try play this game recently on an old pc, there was a bug when grooming the horse the first time where it wouldn’t actually let you complete the session, which means you couldn’t progress. I had to go into the game files and change it to ‘complete’ then maxed all the horses stats while I was there. Makes the game much less tedious and saves having to grind to get anywhere. Turns out the bug happened every time with each horse for some reason. It was a good game when I was like 10 though lol

Based on the name alone this game is crying out to be made into a Crusader Kings 2 mod for a modern upper class setting. Pippa Funnell - 5th child (3rd daughter) of Baron Hawshanks, who is first cousin to Duke Hawshanks, owner of Studfarmshire. - You are not heir to Studfarmshire (YET) - Plot to have scammers convince Duke Hawshanks he need emergency surgery and instead when he's under the knife steal his testicles (the real objective) and kidneys (payment) before he can get his soon to be delivered Internet Bride pregnant. - Plot to have Baron Hawshanks ("Daddy!") seduce Duchess Hawshanks during Christmas dinner without your mother noticing. - Plot to have your 2 older brothers arrested in the middle of an orgy for attempting to murder the fourth place runner up of X factor from 3 years ago over an argument started in a Call of Duty match. - Deliberately incompetently plot to screw over the testicle and kidney stealing scammers and have your eldest sister kidnapped by them because she's been lying to your face about what she did to your favourite yellow dress ever since she was 12 years old and slutting it up with Herschel Rotterthorp in the next borough over. - Plot to have your other older Merideth accidentally bump into recently Alan Mayfarm who she's had a crush on since she was 13 but never had the nerve to talk to. (Alan has an allergy to horses and Merideth's always been affiable and supportive regardless of how psychotic you've been). Pippa Funnell: The words "Daddy I want a horse!" have never been so costly! (Can't tell if great idea or horrifically bad idea).

I'd argue Jacob Rees-Mogg MP is as English as this game.

I'm going to 'like' this, but I pretty much guarantee I will not like it. Good God.
