45°elbow NPS x 15.8 then 90° elbow NPS x 38.1 the sum of two,subtract it to your travel length

What if you have a short 45 or a long 45?

your Welcome!

Sir, please don't use inches in your calculation of measurements, convert it to mm. for mm. is widely used in piping in any plant here or overseas. we only use inches in nominal pipe sizes not dimensions because NPS is not usually the same with the diameter of pipe, it will differ slightly due to pipe schedule or wall thickness in which from size 14" and above NPS = OD. And you forgot to minus the weld gap which is unacceptable during interview test involving with calculation of spools of the employer, where as, interviewees are allowed to use calculator. Just sharing my idea sir....

Sr,I have question,I'm leying pipe under ground sometimes, I need to do 45°down to drop 45°run 45° up and 45° to get the trench cut again . most that time we do 12",inch . My trench cut for Invert or flowline is 4feet and 45 hundreds and I have a sewer main crossing and the ingenering wants to drop the water main under the sewer main and now my other cut for flowline is 7feet and 55 hundreds how I get that travel between this tow 45° bends?please help me
