Total respect, Blaz. The amount of times I hear pilots blaming everything but themselves… But, as you said yourself, you learnt something. I tip stalled a Spitfire a couple of months back and learnt something from that too. Every mistake makes us a better pilot. You are lucky that the plane has so little damage. I look forward to seeing it fly again. Of course, while you are repairing the nose you may as well fit an engine while you're at it! Robert: you get the prize for the funniest quote: 'It's a beginners plane but you have to fly it like a professional'!

Love watching the videos. After seeing how much the motor torque turned the plane on take off, I think that is what finished off the plane. When Captain Blaz tip stalled he went full throttle and the torque of the motor caused it to roll so much. Can't wait to see the 2nd flight. Maybe with a nice Saito 4 cycle! Hey!

Get all fixed, fly it again and you WILL love it. Cubs are famous for tip stalling. It tip stalled. He recovered it. Then he hit the throttle and it torque rolled. He also torque rolled it on takeoff. Wings have no life at low airspeed. Wing tips on cubs have no lift at low airspeed. You can't mash the throttle on a Cub at low airspeed.

This was not a tip stall this was the cause of no wind and the ground moving up closer to the plane really quickly. Knowing the captain this will be fixed within the next two days up and flying doing loops maybe even a knife edge. 😉 Keep the videos coming gentlemen love it all... Cheers

Big salute brothers! Certainly, there was no wind because someone had just sent you a new windsock. Wasn't sure what was up with the hair, I thought maybe you just had a beef jerky hangover Captain Blaz. lol This plane looks great btw. BTW: I'm really looking forward to seeing the Pitts fly!

Listen, guys, this is what makes your channel so good. You don't edit out the bits. Blaz, I have done this a few times too. When your only a few feet from the ground and your concentration gets disturbed it is easy to happen. It's a good fix so go and fly it again. Your a great flyer Blaz and no matter how good you are it happens. I should know because I have done it many times. Keep the hair as it is Blaz because your beginning to become a rocker. ACDC Blazzzzz :D

Amazing idea with the mechanical arming. Set your min throttle to idle cpt blaž. It looks as though you need to reiron your wing tips a bit post crash and or use a flashlight to look for splintering in the wings. Ps these videos help me unwind after a stressful night. Peace and love to yall.

I had a Cub like this one a few years ago, I think it was a "World Models" brand. Looks identical. Mine was also 6s electric, mine also crashed on the maiden. I was so pissed off I was going to throw it in the bin, but someone took it off me and fixed it up. He also crashed it. He fixed it up again and gave it to another guy, he also crashed it. I ended up buying a Hangar 9 Cub, it flew perfect. What can I say, I just think some models don't fly so well.

Bloody Cubs they're notorious for tip stalling and torque rolling. But yes a bit more fan would have avoided the air crash investigation. But like you said pilot Robert...."if". If only this and that. Hindsight is a beautiful thing. If we all had it we would never crash. But then we would never learn. It flew beautifully in the air, such a graceful aircraft. Sorry about the crash Captain Blaz, i'm sure there is another video of the redemption flight, i will watch it next! Salute!

First I thought this video was from last years summer or so, because captain Blaz wearing a t-shirt, but then I realised it being from yesterday. You are really lucky having such nice weather this time of the year. I live in Vienna only a couple hundred kms away and it‘s rainy and cold and windy. Nevertheless your videos are so much fun to watch and so close to real pilot life - you know what I mean 😉 I could feel the pain captain Blaz must have had in this moment. But a couple minutes of diagnosis later he was already looking forward to his redemption flight again. Thank you for showing us those less lucky moments though. Please tell how the repair and redemption flight went. Cheers 👋
