The Raptor is not stock lol if it is the big 3. If you mod a raptor and a banshee using same amount of money for mods banshee will eat raptor every time and a stock raptor and stock banshee are really close

They are going to be close with both having exhaust and tuned. Ported cylinders is where the banshee really gains power.

@@brianj123458 you can’t use same amount of money because if doesn’t cost the same amount of money to mod them both the same, raptor is more expensive. it should be mod them both similarly and see who’s faster. I’m a banshee guy, I have a 421 cub, but the raptor mod for mod is faster, expense aside. My version of a big 3 on a banshee is pipes, filter, timing plate with the plate at +4. That’s similar to a big 3 raptor, raptor will win. After big 3 on a raptor, some guys go cam and bigger throttle body, that’s a solid 60-65 hp to the wheels on a good day on the raptor, pushing close to 50tq, ported banshees make around 60-65 to the wheels as well, remember the raptor isn’t ported yet, so essentially the raptor is making more power with less mods at that point. Raptors are no joke, they’re just more expensive to make fast, but Daniel at Cuervo racing is making them faster and faster every year, I think he’s close to a 1000cc stroker now, giving drag banshees all they could handle. I love my banshee, but I wouldn’t mind a raptor one day, at least I’m keeping it in the Yamaha family.

Gorgeous Banshee. I own a MZ Baghira black panther with weight reduction Wiseco Hotcam Fcr’s valves 9k-CDI. 325lb. supermoto. The 660’s 5 valves and wet sump are a must. The 180 Pilot out back is a must.

Banshee did extremely well didn’t expect a car length difference but tron seemed to turn up top end so Mayb the bus was coming had there been more room.

So if you compare both engines its a twice difference on CC,s 350 vs a 700cc . So lets do something. Give the chance to the banshee to get a little more CC.s to 400cc or 421cc . The raptors still have alot more of engine . So lets try that and race again to see how it goes.

How many times did I tell you the Raptor is faster stock or with equal mods...? I’ve owned 4 Banshees and two Raptors...both awesome machines! Great content brother!!!!

I agree man, I have a 421 cub, but a raptor with a similar stroker kit and supporting mods should give me trouble all day, if it’s making less hp to the wheels, it’s definitely making more tq.

This is very interesting that you brought this up... Without giving it away, the races on the pavement were very different than that on the dirt. The banshee was doing much better on the pavement than on the dirt yet it's the one with 90% tread where the raptor has nearly slicks. I believe it has to do with the pivot of the swingarm. The Raptor pivots in such a way that it digs down where the banshee digs out, causing more wheel spin. Much like how my GT mustang with only 375 HP could not hook up and spun like crazy with GT500 rims and tires, however, a GT500 with the same rims and tires was hooking up with little to no wheel spin with 500+ HP. The only difference is the GT500 was able to deliver the power to the ground in a different manner through the use of traction control bars. That's the only thing I can think of... Just wait until you see the pavement runs, it's going to blow your mind just really how much the banshee was spinning on the dirt.

Now on the black top im gonna say the raptor will win but not by as much cause no matter what the banshee spins way to much on dirt so it will do better on black top. Definitely do not buy the amazon or ebay shocks that are about $70! I would look at some forums to see if theres any other stock shocks off another machine thatll work for you

Big dude isn't the best racer based on this and the stock vs stock video. The raptor should win on pavement if you're the one riding the raptor and can keep the front end down.
