PIPE ORGANS IN PORI FINLAND, CLUNGUNFORD, USHAW & ROCHDALE!!! SCOTT BROTHERS DUO ON TOUR

Музыка

Watch our latest musical travel vlog! In this episode (It's our 2 year Vlogiversary!) we travel to Finland as Jonathan performs at the wonderful Pori Organ Festival with a special Cavaillé-Coll inspired organ! We then travel to the quiet (or is it?) village of Clungunford with a very fine pipe organ. We also travel to the wonderful Ushaw (Historic House, Chapels, and Gardens) Durham for a piano and organ concert and have a chance to show you some of its beautiful buildings! Finally, we take a special trip to the newly renovated Rochdale Town Hall to visit its amazing JJ Binns pipe organ!!! What is a frog pastry? Has Tom's case taken its last trundle? Where are the quietest places under the sun? Find out the answers to these questions and much more in Scott Brothers Duo on tour! We hope you enjoy watching. Jonathan & Tom

It is, in my opinion, so amazing how you both engage the audience on youtube by being candid and "real"... with still the genuine undercurrent of tradition and heritage, and, less stated, spiritual aspect. A brilliant formula!

Thanks so very much to the both of you for bringing such joy and wonder into my life (and I’m sure of thousands of others) in the 8 years I have subscribed and followed you. I find it so difficult to express my gratitude gentlemen. This is Gods work you do.

I've played the Binns at Rochdale Town Hall many times, although it's been many years now since I was there. Beautiful Town Hall and magnificent organ. My only gripe with it, is there isn't much space between the keys for my sausage fingers. Seeing and hearing it has brought back some very happy memories of times there. Thank you both for sharing your musical journey with us all.

Your vlogs are superb, So many delights, from local delivery robot (instead of local pigeon) The excellent organ in Pori, Are you coming to the concert? And your unbridled enthusiasm for Rochdale Town Hall and its organ. Happy Belated Birthday Tom. Recalling Jonathan from a couple of years ago, his quote in reference to your birthday, “No expense spent.” This year hopefully he might spring for the gift of new luggage to make for easier trundling. Thank you both so much for all that you do and the spectacular music at every turn.

This anniversary vlog includes 2 wonderful Binns organs & I can't wait to hear more from the Rochdale 1 - it's been silent for so long!! Has Jonathan fixed your case yet Tom?!! Thank you for sharing your musical journey with us. xx

Who knew from the shot of St. Cuthbert's Church from the outside that the interior would be so lovely and the organ so majestic. I though the Pori organ was most impressive until I heard this little gem! Happy Belated Birthday Tom--I missed you on the 21st (it's also my oldest son's birthday). St. Cuthbert's Chapel at Ushaw after St. Cuthbert's Church at Clungunford? I will admit that that is a most unique layout of the inside of the chapel with respect to the organ location! Rochdale Town Hall is amazing. It will be an awesome concert in September. Wish I could be there but I'm too old to travel but not too old to enjoy the concerts and the vlogs.

I just totally enjoy your trip vlogs - it's almost like being there although you do pack a lot into each video and it all goes by quickly. But I still love watching and listening mostly to Tom since Jonathan rarely has much to say unless he's critiquing the organs he demonstrates. Then whenever you post concerts - those get a total watch. Like the Dvorak piece you recently posted - still one of my all time favorites - every concert you do gets watched intently. Great work by both you guys and it's fun to watch along as you zip through to get it all in with short videos. I'd be happy if you did one location in a longer video than many places in one short video. But that would take a lot of filming and editing so I get it. Still GREAT fun to watch and enjoy. Thanks mates. Oh by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tom. Hope you had a pleasant day on the day to celebrate and enjoy.
