All concerts should have at least a few minutes of funny entertainment no matter how “serious” the show may be. This was amazing. Not because of how they played or what they played. It because it put a smile on the audience (including myself watching on KZread) and you can even see the band also having a smile in their faces. To smile is one of the real good few reasons we all have to keep on our lives no matter how bad the day is. Thank you all. Cheers

When I was a serving Royal in the 70s the RM band was all male and a much more formal marching band as opposed to a full fat orchestral style band. I’m proud to say that, although excellent in my day, these guys are even better. The ladies in the band bring a whole new dimension and the extended range of instruments, vocals and repertoire along with humour like this piece make this about the most entertaining all round band I’ve seen. The visuals and uniforms, the movement of the drummers/buglers just top it all off. Brilliant. So proud of you.

In the military, in each branch, there is a school for musicians. After basic training, if they are selected, they go to learn how to play different instruments, sing, and other things. All they do is play music throughout their career. They do concerts, special programs, parades, etc. They get promoted in rank, just like others. But, they are still know how to fight.

Amazing performances! My late husband would have loved this, he was a lifelong admirer of "the best military band in the world", as he always described them, and I cannot disagree!

"Run away, Tinkie Winkie" while you can! These guys are MESMERISING in their skills and hilarious in their wit and humor... Here's an idea - switch the salaries of the MPs with that of the HM RM Musicians, cause you can't pay these guys enough, and they are SKIIIILLED... superb. And now, I must flee - back to work! Love our chaps! :)
