What's the difference between the mvh-s320bt and the mvh-s310bt

Does Bluetooth only work with Spotify or the app? Can't i just use my phone's media player app to listen to music with Bluetooth?

After you have your phone connected to the in-dash receiver through Bluetooth, simply change the receiver to the Bluetooth Audio Source. You can listen to the audio from nearly any app on your phone through the receiver's Bluetooth Audio Source. How do you set automatic seeking between radio stations. There are only 2 modes: PCH (in combination with BSM feature it automaticlly stores strongest stations on buttons from 1-6) or manual (switching by +/- 0.05Hz) this radio is total crap. On a long drive when you travel far radio is totaly useless. I have to click 1000 times to find the station that works, the PCH mode is totally useless too because it stores 6 stations that have strongest reception but on a long drive reception gets weaker and all you get is humming from the speakers. Please help any advice appriciated.

I recommend to press and hold the receiver's arrow button >> for a few seconds to seek to the next available radio station. You may need to change the Local setting to a lower number or to switch the local setting to off. What you see in the video is what is included in the box. Will you need additional connectors and a mounting kit? This will depend upon the vehicle in which you plan to install the new in-dash receiver. As a general rule you'll need a dash installation kit to make the receiver fit into the dash of your vehicle. Dash installation kits are designed to fit perfectly into your particular vehicle and to hold the new receiver in place. There are many dash installation kits available from many sources. As of 2022 September. For the North American version of Pioneer MVH-S320BT with blue illumination as shown in the video above. There is only one correct firmware update for the receiver. It depends upon the firmware that is currently installed on the receiver. You can check the firmware version currently installed on the receiver in the Initial Menu. Both Pioneer MVH-S310BT and MVH-S320BT have the same color illumination. You can't change the colors.

The Pioneer DEH-S320BT has a CD player. This is a European model with red illumination. The MVH-S320BT does not have a CD player and is a North American version of the product. @@BTunaTTV_YT There is a good reason I say the North American version. The Pioneer MVH-S320BT is designed to be used in North America. I strongly recommend to buy a product designed to be used in the region where you live. If you are in North America and driving a European vehicle in North America it should be no problem. This receiver operates on 12 Volts DC. This works great for most European vehicles. However, please note: If you are in Europe, it won't matter what vehicle you have, the Pioneer MVH-S320BT AM/FM radio may not operate correctly. This receiver is designed to operate in North America and not in Europe. There are different broadcast radio systems. Please be more specific with your question. What is the model number of the Pioneer receiver you are using? What are you plugging into the USB port ( what phone, or USB flash drive, or other device) when you see the error 19 message?

Mvh s320 bt. It happens with Usb flash drive 32 and 64g while playing if i try to skip backwards the unit shuts off and restarts with an error 19

Error 19 is a USB communication error. There are many possible causes to the error and many variables. Here are a few things I recommend to correct the problem. Press the in-dash receivers microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer MVH-S320BT behind the detachable face near the center of the receiver. You can see it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWqdw9mJYpqfgpc.html When you see the error, remove the USB flash drive. The issue can't be corrected with the USB drive in place. This can be caused by one corrupt file in a folder causing the issue, even if you are not attempting to play the corrupt file. I recommend to reformat the USB drive on a different computer and try again. This time with only a few files and folders. Be sure only playable music files are on the drive. If all is working well, experiment by slowly add more files to the drive. I recommend to try a different brand and smaller USB flash drive. For best performance with this product I recommend 16GB or smaller USB drive. Be sure to format the drive as FAT32. If you are using steering wheel controls, to skip forward or back, it may be caused by a firmware issue with the steering wheel control adapter in use. Please consider using the Pioneer Smart Sync App to test for FF or REW on the USB drive. I don't have install data about the mk2 variation of the 1990 WV Golf. The Pioneer MVH-S320BT is a short chassis receiver and will work well in many variations of the 1990 VW Golf without modification to the vehicle. Please be aware, the face of the Pioneer receiver may not detach in this particular installation. Can you blue tooth music on an MP3 Player to play on the stereo? Nobody wants to ever address this capability and it is the core issue in my purchase. I am new to this area of electronics and I can't get an answer to this question anywhere on-line. (If so, who would USB their music into this stereo?) I am starting to fear no stereos do this function. OK, I get that you can wireless stream audio files to play on the stereo,. But doesn't that by definition mean it is referring to the wireless device being online and playing music chosen by others? AS WE KNOW THAT IS ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT THAN PLAYING YOUR OWN PLAYLIST ON YOUR OWN MP3 PLAYER DEVICE.

The answer is yes. The Pioneer MVH-S320BT and many other Pioneer receivers are perfectly capable of this. However, it depends upon the Bluetooth capabilities of the external MP3 player. If your MP3 player can connect through Bluetooth to a portable speaker, or a similar device, it can almost certainly connect to a Pioneer receiver with built-in Bluetooth for wireless streaming audio. The Pioneer MVH-S322BS shown above, can be connected to more than one Bluetooth device at the same time. This means you can have a phone connected to the receiver for hands free calling and wireless streaming audio and you can have an external music player connected to the receiver through Bluetooth at the same time. You can play music through Bluetooth from the external player and if you should receive a phone call, the music is automatically muted while you complete the call, hands free. When the call is completed, the receiver will automatically switch back to the music player and continue to play a track. Many people store music files on the phone, very similar to storing music on an external music player. You have full access to the music files stored on the phone. To a certain extent, this can eliminate the need to carry two devices in your vehicle at the same time. When using a phone as the Bluetooth source, you have the option of streaming music from online services such as Spotify or Pandora as well as playing the music that is stored on your phone. Additionally, many people like to use a USB flash drive for music storage, and simply leave this USB drive in the vehicle. That way it's never forgotten at home. If you use the Pioneer Smart Sync App, you can search for music stored on the USB drive using your phone.
