Thanks for the video Bro! I saw in your other install video you were installing in a 4Runner. I also have a 2016 SR5 4Runner. I got a cheap Sony head unit in there running to a 5 channel JL Audio amp. I shouldn’t have cheap’d out on the head unit. Lol! How does this sound? How are you liking it so far?

The features alone are a huge upgrade -we added a subwoofer in this truck and change the speakers also. Those installs alone made a huge difference. Check out our channel for the other videos for the Fourrunner

This video would’ve been great if you would have slowed it down and told us what each wire goes to and not speed it up to super speed.

No reason to explain each wire. First the main connector has the same speaker wire colors we have been using for over 30 years. The other wires are for camera in etc, no need to dwell on those wires which some people will not use.

I'm honestly curious about the soldering. I just did this entire assembly pretty much identical to yours, with a different harness. I did all my ties the same and shrink wrapped them and bundled the wire groups together with hockey tape. Thing is I did not solder. Should I tear it apart to solder it?

What did you do with green parking brake wire?

Are you able to connect this to the Sirius XM antenna that is built into the stock stereo?

I never did that do you think an amateur can wire easily or its a bad idea i like to things my self when i can but wiring is scaring me a little i dont wanna mess !

See metraonline.com to see if they make an aftemarket radio harness for your car. If they do make it, pick it up, then connect the pioneer harness to it (the color will be same), and then just plug it in. Cant screw it up. All your connections are betweem the metra harness and the new radio harness. Everything else will plug into your car, and you can plug back in your original factory radio if needed.

Decent head unit. Good luck. Not sure what kind of car you have, but check if you need an antenna adapter also for AM/FM - Metraonline.com

@@Autotoys i installed my new radio and it was not hard i was happy to dp it myself thanka for your help ! And the sony xav ax4000 is pretty sweet i like that its wireless for android and apple and its rinnin really smooth plus the sound is amazing !

Is there any Lag in the radio
