Does this fit for 2016 camry.? Does it seat flush like the factory or need to but any additional moulds around it? Also, would need to buy any additional wire adapters? Can I have my factory back camera work with it?

The Pioneer DMH-1770NEX will work great in a 2016 Toyota Camry with the use of a proper dash installation kit and wiring kit. Metra 99-8249 You'll also need a wire adapter kit and an antenna adapter kit. Hi, I need some help. So recently I’ve purchased and i this radio, I’ve been trying to mirror my screen but can’t seem to do it. The mirror “section” is like closed. Even though I’m connected wirely, the mirror section still doesn’t appear. How can I mirror my screen of my iPhone XR? By the way the CarPlay works.

Phone mirroring is available for Android based phones only. As of 2021 September, the phone must have Android OS 5.0 up to Android 10. This may work on newer version of Android OS. It will not work for iPhone. This receiver offers phone mirroring or Android auto. One at a time, not both, at the same time. You must choose one or the other in the Priority of Connection menu. You must first install the compatible phone mirroring app on your device. Hi. Two questions. 1. Where does the USB connect on the device and where does someone typically run the USB? Is there a video of this? I would prefer to hide the most wiring as possible of course. 2. Is it compatible with the car’s factory reverse camera? Thank you.

In order to install the receiver in your vehicle, you'll need to take apart the dash. When the dash is taken apart, you can run the USB extension to a place that's out of the way and yet easy to access for the driver. Many people choose put the USB extension in the center console, or in the glove box. The Pioneer DMH-1770NEX uses a composite RCA input for the dedicated backup camera connection. My music sounds worse after install, even with using the customs setting. In my Chevy silverado 2013 it sounds like majority of the sound is coming from the pillar tweeters and door speakers sound low/ muffled. Any recommendations on how to correct it? Its only been a couple of hours and I'm ready to return it.

Please be more specific with your question. It sounds like something may be installed incorrectly or a setting on the receiver needs to be adjusted. Please answer a few questions. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? What speakers are connected directly to the receiver? Does this vehicle have an external amplifier? Is there a subwoofer in the system? Low or muffled sound may mean a speaker phase problem. This means that one or more of the speakers are wired backwards. Please be sure that all of the speakers are wired the same way. For example: + and - rather than - and + Swapping one of these around will muffle the systems sound. I had it installed at Best Buy, when I brought it back (later that day) they said the head unit wouldn't change the speaker sound quality. However, I explained the stock head unit was able to give me clearer more surround sound sound. This almost sounds like the door speakers aren't pushing out equal sound to the tweeters. I cannot verify how the speakers were wired, but I'm willing to check. I have a DMH1770NEX. I also updated the firmware to rule that out. 13 Chevy Silverado LT extended cab. No Bose, no amp. 6 speakers total though, two tweeters (near windshield) and 4 speakers(one in each door). I had this installed for husband (Christmas present) and feel bad because now we're kinda stuck. I apologize, this is difficult to explain. I will look at the video, hopefully it will help me figure out the problem.

@@bdon4690 I recommend to verify what speakers are connected to the receiver. You'll do this with the receiver's Fade and Balance controls. With the vehicle safely parked and running switch on the AM/FM radio and select a station. From the home screen touch the Gears and then touch the speaker or Audio Settings Button. In the Audio Settings Select Fader and Balance. Use the arrow buttons to move the cursor all the way up to the top left. At this point, note what speakers are playing music. Front left is selected on the receiver. Next touch the on screen arrow buttons and move the cursor to the top right. Note what speaker is playing. Do this for the bottom right and bottom left as well. Are all 6 speakers connected? Or only 4?

Is there a protrective cover on the screen because in the lower right of my screen there is two labels that say bluetooth and sirius? I would like for those to go away.

The Bluetooth and SiriusXM labels can simply be peeled off the screen. The labels may leave behind a small amount of adhesive. Just use a soft slightly damp cloth or a lens cleaning cloth to remove any adhesive. You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZread Channel here: kzread.info

The internal amplifier on the Pioneer DMH-1770NEX is the same as most other Pioneer receiver models in 2021. If you want to push more watts, I recommend an external amplifier. I have a 4200 nex its asking me for the pin but i cant hit the row of the bottom buttons it seem like it uncalibrated and the button that changes letters to numbers its in that row any way i can fix this problem

I recommend to press the receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer AVH-4200NEX on the hard key panel to the far right by the eject button. Be sure to have the vehicle safely parked with the Parking Brake engaged. So this shows an Ipod icon on the home screen but I cannot find anything anywhere saying it supports Ipods. What Ipod models will it support? I have a classic, 160GB.

The Pioneer DMH-1770NEX is not designed to support iPod. When you plug in an iPhone 5s or newer, though USB, the receivers source changes to iPod. Music that is stored on the iPhone is now available through the iPod source. Other music sources are available through the phone in Apple CarPlay. If you plug in an iPod, you may have limited access to music from that device, though the control will be very limited. The receiver is not designed to work with iPod.
