I just had this problem on my FLX10. By watching your video I was able to quickly find the fault and repair it without having to pay any money. Thank you (thumbs up) I bought my controller on the first day (model January 2023), I hope they've corrected the thing by making a more rigid piece, it's still quite a scratchy crossfader.

Bro this is amazing . Great work. Do you know if the pioneer DDJ 1000 crossfader is compatible as a replacement part? Instead of fixing it if im not able to? Cause the crossfader for the flx10 is the DEA1153 and I cant find it anywhere. Please let me know! Thanks again

Thank you. The 1000 crossfader looks identical internally but the wiring is totally different so you can't connect it. You can get one from here if needed - just message them on chat first to confirm stock - www.oemnmore.com/products/pioneer-ddjflx10-oem-genuine-cross-fader-service-assy-dea1153

I’ve had two of these break, exactly the same way. Do they sell just that repaired piece separately from the whole fader assembly ?

Sadly they don't yet so you have to order the entire crossfader assembly or use crazy glue. I was hoping Infinity Faders would make one, but the company recently closed its website and probably went out of business.

1 more question. What screwdriver size should I use?

All you need is a regular Phillips screwdriver.
