I'm so happy with this collaboration! I couldn't even tell what channel I was looking at for a second! Blew my mind DJ TechTools You guys are the best!

I was searching youtube one day a few years ago and somehow came across one of DJ Ravine's videos. (Pretty sure it was the first April Fool's video). I didn't know much about dance music and all of this was new to me. After watching more of his videos I fell in love with dance music and dj'ing. Ravine's videos led me to buy a mixer and ever since then I've been hooked. To be honest I'm not sure why I'm sharing this story.

The Loop Recall tip also works with Serato, and I'd anticipate Traktor as well. On Serato, Quantize doesn't need to be on, you just need Slip Mode on and have your beatgrid set right. Simply initiate an autoloop on the phrase you want to recall and disable the autoloop before it kicks in. Then switch to Manual Loop mode and use the Loop Play button to recall back to the loop; hit the Loop On/Off button after to resume. You can actually also use the Loop Play button to repeatedly rejump back to the start of the loop, essentially giving you a temporary HotCue button that is totally separate from your regular Hotcues and Cue button :D

Very useful even if you don't have CDJs. Every tip here can be performed on my NS7 II. :)

The CDJ2000 Nexus is simply stunning. Glad I own 2 of them. :) Also got them insured through Alianz Dj Insurance.. I suggest you guys should do to you manhandle your equipment like no tomorrow lol.

Quantize means it makes the section you'r looping an equal 2,4,6 etc, measures even if you don't get it exactly right.

I know this was uploaded a long time ago but why is it that I can't do this trick at 2:14 on the XDJ-RX2? It works just fine on my XDJ-1000s in comparison.

hey gentleman, i have an issue with random looping when i scratch and/or move the platter to cue up. also, the sound cuts off unless i hold the needle search. do u have any ideas on how i can fix this? i have cdj 2000s.
