Why hasn't pioneer made a instructions video for this one?, that would at least allow us see other features of the stereo.

I have the same Radio, the sound is awesome but the Display is really low res. This radios needs min. a 720p display. I have it connected to a I-sotec 5D amp for more power. Steering wheel control with a adapter in my Honda Accord. It works perfect. I don't want pay over 1000 euro for a 720p display! Every cheap Smartphone has a 720p/1080p Display.

Just bought one, but the initial screen looks different. What can i do? Should i refresh somehow the software?

I have a pioneer AVH-Z5200dab radio. Is there any theft protection? Detachable frontscreen or pin code? I could not find such....

I'm looking at buying this unit. My question is can I plug my ipod and phone into at the same time?

@@colind5788 I fitted a AVIC Z910DAB.

I’ve just purchased the similar model AVH-Z5100 but have a couple of teething issues : it keeps resetting every time the ignition is turned off and back on again , it then asks me what language I want and what settings I want for the dab aerial ,every time I turn it on , it also doesn’t remember the clock settings and doesn’t remember I have turned demo mode off , and it also won’t play the image of a dvd but plays the audio of it . I have emailed pioneer directory but haven’t had a response yet , can you advise ?

You must probably switch the red and yellow wire between them. like red to yellow ,yellow to red.. it wont keep the settings in memory otherwise.

@@mariouslm As you said. Leads should be connected Yellow to Red & Red to Yellow to ensure continuous supply of power. All settings will then be retained.

Does this have steering wheel control connectivity? I'm finding Mixed answers.

Hi Cody, you can connect this unit to your steering wheel controls, however you do need a wiring kit to connect the two.

Does it have a navigation function?

Hi, this unit offers navigation using either Google Maps for Android phones (Android Auto) or Apple Maps for iPhones (CarPlay). It does not have built-in GPS navigation, however the Google Maps or Apple Maps both offer very good navigation. They also allow you to set a destination via voice, without having to type in your destination.

Even better, you can select a navigationd destination by speaking to the unit, instead of having to manually enter multiple data fields...so quick!
