I'm still in the dark😢 I have no idea how to connect my creations to etsy or pibestrest. Is there anything even more elementary I can learn from? These words Pins and boards are Greek to me. Can anyone direct me? I'll be so extremely grateful!

Cassiy, I can't thank you enough for thank you enough for all of your tutorials. I just watch this Pinterst tutorial, set up my business Pinterest, made boards and added my pins. With in 48 hours I have noticed a vast improvement in my views and sales on Etsy and another POD platform I use. I have a question, is there any way to have my Pinterest pin go directly to that particular listing on Etsy? I noticed when a buyer clicks one the product in Pinterest it takes them to my Etsy shops main page and the buyer will have to scroll my listing to find that particular item.

I am so glad my videos have helped you Amanda!! Since you are just starting our, I’d really recommend only posting your own items for now. A better use of your time is finding new niches and making new designs, then once you start getting some successful listings and are making sales, then I’d focus on marketing those ones to pour more fuel on the fire!

Great info Cassiy!! I love how you present. You seem so real and helpful. I am beginning to pin my items on pinterest and this was so helpful. I too got deactivated for too many pins. I researched it and found that it is around 40 pins but I don't even have 40 pins yet. 🤷‍♀ Do you know if repins have the same limitations? I am being very cautious now. I just watched this video, and began pinning items from my Etsy shop. I was just deactivated by Pinterest at 20 pins, so I guess that must be the limit maybe.

I already have a business account that has lots of boards that are not related to what I sell would it be best if I open a personal account and slowly pin my personal stuff onto that as i really do want to keep them , and then concentrate on boards relevant to my Etsy shop only. Hi Cassiy, just watched this video for a second time. i always find your videos very helpful. i really want to learn how to use pinterest better. there are lots of videos that say use pinterest and find group boards and join them. which is all well and good, but I'm struggling to find videos that actually show you how...how to find group boards, how to join them and use them etc, are you doing anymore videos on interest? I'm hoping you will because you seem to explain things much better than others. also I'm finding that the videos that i have watched about it they speak too fast its hard to absorb what they are saying. thank you as alawys

Hi Amy! I am really glad my videos have been able to help you, I really try to show things nice step by step so they are easy to understand. I honestly don't do anything more with my Pinterest than what I showed in this video. It's a good thing to use as a tool but I don't go really crazy with Pinterest. Pinterest should be more like the fuel on the fire, not the fire starter if that makes sense. So if you aren't getting sales right now, instead your time is better spent finding better niches, making better designs, buying better mock-ups etc.

Thanks for the video. So every time we want to pin a product to Pinterest we create a new board? So for example if i have wedding invites they’re not grouped together in one board or are they all separate??

I’d say 10-15 per day would be the max but in the beginning if you just opened your account, then I’d do like 5 a day so they don’t think you are a bot and close your account. But if your account does get open, don’t worry you can email them and they will open it again for you!

Hey Cassiy, I have an important question! 😊I followed your instructions on how to pin your Etsy listings to Pinterest. However, sometimes my title doesn't copy over as my SEO on Pinterest. I click on each listing specifically, as you said, but the title still doesn't transfer over. Any suggestions on what I should do?

This was really great. Your videos are extremely informative. The only thing I am confused about is what if I have Etsy, Ebay, and Shopify. Am I only doing Etsy to Pinterest or can I do all three stores?

Great questions Sabrina! I wish that Etsy showed you these types of analytics but they don't. I can see how many people have come to my shop from Pinterest, but it doesn't tell me how many people actually purchased. In the last 30 days I have had about 80 people actually come to my shop from my Pinterest Account. So definitely not my main source of income but I don't put almost any effort into it other than just adding it to a board from my Etsy shop page. I rely pretty much solely on Etsy SEO to bring me sales, but in time I'm hoping to get more organic traffic as well as I am considering starting my own website soon as well and want to know how to drive traffic to it!

However, I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to actually post my pins onto it. Can you do a short tutorial on how to pin on the Group Boards? Thanks so much.

You just pin to it like any other board, when you click post pin then all your boards will come up as options and the group board you joined should show up as well.

Hi Cassiy! Thank you for your video :) I'm just starting on Pinterest, so still confused as to how to use Pinterest. I created a business account. But I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards, or how doest that work? Also, in one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones? And my second question is about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pinterest: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Or should I just not worry about those "tagged topics" on Pinterest? (also, why doesn't it let me edit my tagged topics even on my created pins?) I'm new to Pinterest. Thank you in advance!!

Your first designs aren't going to be your best ones, you just have to jump in and try! This is a business of testing things until you find what works. I love the old saying "progress over perfection". You just have to focus on your "why". What does having a successful Etsy business mean to you, how can it change your life? Won't it be worth it? Do yourself a favor and just jump right in! I'd also recommend doing some self improvement as well, because you are never going to get over your imposter syndrome on your own! Some good books to read would be "Unfuck Yourself" "The Subtle Are Of Not Giving A Fuck" and "The Magic Of Thinking Big". These books and others have given me the right mindset to run a successful business and to live a happier life

I have trouble worrying about how many mockups I should have in a listing, times where it's better to use a model mockup or flat lay for the main photo, if each version of the mockups should be included in one listing. Hello Cassiy, thanks for this video. I opened up an Etsy shop 6 mos ago and I'm trying to drive more traffic to it via Pinterest. I noticed that when I pin a listing from my Etsy store it takes the full retail price of the product and includes it with the newly created pin. However, I'm running 24hr sales in my Etsy shop and the sale price is not reflected in the new pins. Is there a way to adjust the price on Pinterest so that it will show the same sale price that my Etsy store is showing?

Another great video! Does it matter to post the default square pins or is it better to take the time to create the rectangular vertical ones?

I really just recommend doing it this quick and easy way. If you ever get some super good sellers on Etsy, that's the only time it might be worth promoting it more on Pinterest with the vertical pins. But sometimes my pins will get 1000's of resins and likes on Pinterest but literally never sell once. So Pinterest is not something I spend almost any time on. The best part about Etsy is that it brings you tons of free organic traffic! So I'd focus more on that part of it instead as the big focus!

Hi Cassiy. I went to add Pinterest on my Firefox extensions. It's telling me it want access to all data on all websites, and download files and read and modify the browser's download history! Is that something one should allow? That seems very intrusive.
