Times are insane right now. There’s tension in the air, people are acting crazy, governments are acting crazy, I’m going crazy.

it’s crazy how many people got into longboarding just because of this one video, myself included. the vibes in this video are just immaculate, it captures the essence of summer SO well. its been 9 years since I first saw this video. I watched it over and over and over again and it inspired me to buy my first longboard. I still come back to watch it every once in a while. I don’t ride as much anymore but I still have a longboard, and I try to ride at least a couple times every year 💛

Four years ago when I was 13, I saw this video and the very same day, I bought a pintail 40. This pintail made me get a C in chemistry, get road rash everywhere on my body, and purchase 2 more boards. This past summer I went out to western New Jersey to have some fun on the great country roads. I passed through a small town that seemed really familiar but I just couldn't remember where it was from. I just remembered that the town I passed through this summer was the same town at 00:25. I rode through the same town, on my pintail...crazy! Keep making dope videos and shred on!

+YUKU I think my Slipstream ABEC 7 are really good, had them since summer (not riding in rain) and they spin for about 2:30 - 3:20 minutes without lube. Just tested them. i have never cleaned them! And i ride ALOT. :D //Max

It's crazy the fact that I watched this video for the first time 10 years ago, and it's still one of the best videos on youtube :)

This video got me into skating when I was 10, I am now 18 and still cruising.

This changed my life when I was 12, now I'm 20 and I just made a video for Boosted Boards using this song by Vetiver. Watching this again brought me close to tears. I know for a fact this video began my passion for filmmaking and here I am now 8 years later at NYU film school living in New York City... life is incredible. Nick Patrick I look forward to the day I can shake your hand, buy you dinner, and thank you for editing this and starting my life passion.

Few songs make feel as much nostalgia as this one. I don't ride longboards anymore, but I vividly remember being 15ish years old and watching this video, and subsequently riding my longboard to school and back home. Probably spent about 45 minutes each way, and loved every minute of it. Listened to this song pretty much every day. It's such a good jam. Reminds me of all the best parts of summer.

I used to watch this video so much in 5th grade. I’m 22 now and I’m so happy it’s still here!

This always makes me feel 14 again. So many warm memories.

Way back in the day me and my buddy Johnny would watch these videos and then go out and skate all day. We loved all of them but this one in particular really spoke to us because they just looked like they were having so much fun and they weren't even doing any super difficult tricks, it was all just stuff that we could see ourselves doing. Thanks for all the fun memories!

I live in an area with shitty hills, but some smooth roads and pavements. my town is full of stereotypical skateboarders and no other longboarders n they all have a hatred of me cos I longboard and I'm just like lmao I don't care

I came back to this video after watching it years ago. I'm not a longboarder but I think about this video sometimes. The stunning camera angles, the effortless motion of the longboarders, those wonderful shots of rural America (I live in rural Ireland) and that wonderful Vetiver song. It's so chilled and always puts me in a really chilled place.

This video makes me happy when I am sad. Although 15 million people have seen it, no one I know has so it makes it my personal video in a way. Thanks for the upload been watching it since 2010 =)

I almost shed a tear listening to this the old memories and the times i had on My board

8 yrs later. And I'm still skating. Thank you to the team of Skate Original. You were a huge part of childhood growing up. With The Hawaii and Puerto Rican sessions. Those were great times. Then I think I remember seeing a proposal too. So all in all Skate Original is where I started and I enjoyed every second of it.

I bought a pintail 40 like 9 years ago after finding this video and it made some of the best summers of my life. All my friends were doing these crazy slides but I was happy just to cruise around with them. Just recently got a banjo and this was the first song I learned... still have my pintail.

Your videos are the reason I started longboarding. I've been cruising on a pintail 43 for a couple years now. Awesome video.

This video / song sold me, I bought an Original pintail a few years back and skated every single day after school. After a few years I needed some extra cash so I decided to sell my trusty pintail on Craigslist. I met the potential buyer at a busy supermarket parking lot. He showed up in a suit and tie and turned out to be a 30- something year old preacher. I assumed he was buying my longboard as a present for his child, but as soon as I handed him the board he hopped on it and shredded around the parking lot like nobody's business. Preacher man could shred!

Once in a while I love watching this clip, makes me bring back good memories from the old days, having fun and enjoy life, be safe people, greetings ❤️

i dont know if that question was ment for me or not, but it really depends on the style of riding you plan to do. there are so many options. personally i like drop-through decks but i've been riding skateboards for a long time so i wanted something different.

When I was a kid, I bought a skateboard by watching this video :) I was 11 when I watched it, now I am 21.

I was 13 when i found this video, i was already craving a longboard but this video particularly got me into buying my first board. Now i've own more than 5 (2 of them broke in the middle of a ride). Since the end of 2019 and the whole 2020 i wasn't able to ride, and thanks to corona i won't probably ride on 2021 and looking through this video brought back so many memories, many falls, many scars and many histories that i don't want to lose again.

This is the video that got me into longboarding 13 years ago. Love coming back to it every so often.

Long boards cool me down and make me calm that's why I love riding them! There so fun to ride to! I highly recommend long boards if your beginner on skateboarding or long boarding they are easier to ride since they are big enough for your feet to rest! Unlike a penny board they are too small for my comfert! But yeah !

I haven't longboarded in years and was thinking about my old torpedo 40. Sad you guys don't make it so I went with the pintail 40 and I must say best decision of my life to buy it. I absolutely LOVE MY PINTAIL 40 and plan on buying other original boards soon!!

Small victories! I've been describing KZread as a phone company that disconnects the number did your old friends. We have no way to get to you, new videos won't trigger a notification and there is no way to send you a message or even an ad, so the only way you can easily get to us is to literally remember the name of the video (or our company) and go find it. Regardless, stoked to have you back however that happens!
