I haven't bowled with very many storm balls, but my first bowling ball ever was a storm hot wire, and I liked it.

The original Hy Road is still my favorite Storm ball.

1st 5 shots I threw with my L-BO and 7-8 were all strikes. Great ball

I’m still rollin’ with the Storm Punch Out. First ball I ever had drilled back in 2015. Still has that wicked back end. My all time favorite. Currently, I’m really diggin’ the original Absolute.

I had a Red Sun Storm from HSP and a Pacific Storm that I loved

Tend to be more of a brands of Brunswick kind of guy and haven’t found a Storm ball I like except the Duo and it’s the only Storm product in my arsenal.

Probably a ball not too many people had back in it’s day, 2 Furious. Still throw it every time I bowl.

i was very partial to the Storm Eraser from back in the day. I also really liked the Virtual Gravity

i loved the code red ball from storm and it holds my highest game bowled / i had a 296 with that ball loved how it rolled every time.

I did have a Eurostorm when I was stationed in Germany that was pretty awesome also

Nice one Ron. That Lightning Blackout is lights out ⚡️! Question about your sanding pads. How would you know when it is time to get another pack of pads? I have been using the 1k, 2k, and 3k pads for my urethane, solid, and pearl balls about once per 9 games since September. I don't have a surface scanner, so I am not sure the 2k pad is still giving me a 2k surface. I have probably used the pads about 10-12 times each. Should I just get a new pack each year?

Yes that would be a good time to get some fresh ones. Also if you get TruCut Conditioner it will double the life of the sanding pads.

I have 2 legitimate questions… most people seem to hate reacta gloss but how many games does it take to get rid of the over under it causes that people talk about without resurfacing the ball? And also why don’t you guys put your polish on a storm ball to show us that your product is actually better?

So you’ve said that all balls end up at 4700 grit and stabilize there. Is that true for balls that are 5,000 or 6,000 grit such as the L-BO?

Yep they just get "duller" to 4700 grit

Does taking the polish off ruin the ball from using it on burnt lanes?

No the surface can be adjusted back and forth without hurting the ball

@@Ctdbowling I used TruCut Polish on my UFO ALERT last week and it became very angular (2000 Abralon underneath) I bowled several games with it but today it seemed to have lost the angularity so I hit it with TC 1500 pad and polished it again. My question is how often do you need to do this? I was bowling on burnt lane today so maybe that’s why it acted the way it did?
