Pinoy Joyride - SCTEX - TPLEX Joyride 2024
This is the continuation of my previous video. From Clark South we drive all the way to the Subusub TPLEX rotunda in Rosario La Union. It was a relaxing drive and luckily no accident or traffic build up. Total driving hours around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Speed limit enforced on SCTEX and TPLEX with speed cameras. Current maximum speed for class 1 is 100 km/h and 60 km/h as minimum.
The Petron fuel station along TPLEX will have new restaurants, I saw Jollibee tarpaulin in one of the fuel stations there.

i hope speed limit change at 140 kph.100 kph makes me feels slow
It has been 13 years since the first video about SCTEX was released (Jan. 2011), and there's now loads of changes throughout the years (hopefully there'd be lights or reflective barriers, but there's tons of trees)

What an incredible weather. It is so clear that you can already see the Cordillera Mountain Range as far as the very start of TPLEX which is in Tarlac. 😮

I wish to see this stretch of road and especially the completion of all of TPLEX. My last time I was in Baguio was in 2015 and remembee what TPLEX used to look like back then. My dad, my brothers and I've been there together as my dad drives a white 2009 8th Gen Honda Civic 1.8S, a compact sedan which is now owned by my paternal uncle (my dad's brother) who currently lives in San Fernando, Pampanga and now works abroad again. Right now, my dad drives a gray 2017 Volkswagen Golf GTS Mk7, a compact station wagon and one of the VWs in the Philippines made in Mexico just like the Tiguan and Jetta A6 and we're planning to buy a new compact crossover SUV this year as a new second vehicle.

@@dmitrivalencia, it is a nice car to drive and in the coming years, we're planning to sell it. For this year, we're planning to sell two cars because they're not working well. Those two cars are a silver 2000 Toyota bB XP30 and a gray-ish blue 2nd Gen Mitsubishi Pajero. We're planning to buy a new Chinese electric subcompact hatchback either a Jetour or a Wuling.

Trivia:SCTEX and TPLEX’s environment is much similar as Indonesia’s Trans-Java Toll Road or Trans-Sumatra Toll Road because they have four lane expressway and the speed limit in the Philippines and Indonesia is 100 kph
