Pinkway is it worth the $$$

So far is a great saw with just a few things that could be improved on.

Hi Bert!!😀😀 The Pink Way is a Zenoah knock off. They are pretty nice for the price. I have 2 John Cutter saws that are also Zenoah knock offs. They have been really good for the price. They have always started easy and ran great. The Pink Way also has the easy start on it. Don't just rip on it you will break it. Just pull it out slowly to the end and it will automatically spin the engine over for you. If you rip on the rope you will end up breaking the rewind. Take care buddy!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al

I like your big grinding wheel in the opening. Found one on my property when we bought it. The wheel is still nice but the frame was rusty and bent. Nice job 👍

That's a big roll of TP, not a grinding wheel. Many years of use as shop rags or as toilet paper.

Very cool hope it works out till it’s time to get a higher use saw. For what it is it seems like a great value. The way I look at saw. Homeowner farm and pro saws is they all have there intended uses or heat cycles. Homeowner a tank of saw use at a time. Farm saw a few tanks in a row. Pro saws use all day. Right saw right for right usage (heat cycles). Good luck and keep these videos coming they are very relatable!!!!!

I use the dremel on the processor chain. I just like the better consistency of my grinders.

I really like a ground chain. I touch up with rotary tool. I probably do 10 chains at time when get bench grinder out. Make doing the depth gauge easy as well. Little saw cuts good.

I do all my sharpening on the grinders. I have a plano box with spare chains and just change them when dull.

Do you adjust the rakers separately?

  • @BertsCustomCuts

I usually do the rakers on saw if I want more of an aggressive cut. My depth guage doesn't work on safety chain.

Pinkway audio may be the cause but does sound rich? comparison video with Chris's new 562? Finally had a chance to run your grind for a bit cut fast on a 592 in 30" oak with rakers at .035 and does not feel grabby but does hard stick stall at times.🤨🤔unless you might offer feedback likely just try resharpen without doing rakers and hopefully get something around .030"

I run my rakers around .025 for hardwoods. Will do a comparison with 562 one of these days
