Damn it’s only been a year and this song’s already nostalgic
this has to be one of the only linkups that have caught my eye in a while, there’s just no hype like this anymore. the fact that both of them are upcoming artists and both got famous off the same platform + the amazing contrasting yet complementary aesthetics in this music video just sets it off. Id hate to be one of those people but what makes these two stand out is they both are all natural and original, both have unique style and both have the hype. @@SDD0607 good point, i actually agree. I would have put that in the comment but i didn’t really want to look at the negative side for her ie the twerking and rapping about a load of nothing. What i do like about her and what i was trying to communicate through the comment though is her style, both in rapping and appearance. She doesn’t rock a 30 inch buss down like 99% of female rappers do (although she did in one of her music videos) instead she has a more memorable orange fro which makes her stand out. Plus her body is actually completely natural for once, no bbls. Her style of rapping is also rather calm, almost like she’s whispering, which also sets her apart imo. It’s little things like this we need to see more, stuff that individualises the artist from others.
