Yes but kids shouldn’t have anything given to them like that. My dad always played his best against me from a very young age and I’m glad he did. I can still remember the first time I beat him. It meant a hell of a lot. Kids need to learn they have to earn what they get.

В чём он джентльмен? В том, что не стал делать мат в один ход, начал хихикать и играть в поддавки? Зачем прививать ложное чувство успеха? Если Ксюша планирует связать свою жизнь с шахматами, то с ней в античесс никто играть не будет.

Благодаря таким шахматистам как Добров у детей появляются уверенность и вера в себя. Мы с дочкой смотрели до конца и она мне говорит " папа он крутой и мне нравится" . А в конце когда он замухлевал мы громко посмеялись😂😂. Кстати он мог неоднократно выиграть но не сделал этого

@@cano4458 --- Rb1 at about 4:00. The difference in piece coordination is stunning. I do not think it is wise to gift a game, but maybe she's good enough to understand it all as a game, only. She got creamed. I got creamed once, by two center pawns marching up the board to a checkmate. Definitely, I was way outclassed, but seeing that was a valuable piece of information for me - and it did not hurt. The guy was probably assessing his chances of winning after giving up a queen for free.

Humility, that's how I define GM Hummer in one word, what he did in this game is admirable👏👏👏

Love the charity. He seems like an excellent guy. It's not often you get a chance to play a game with a GM and it's even more rare he/she let you win. Good job, Pinkamena. It's true, charm can always help one prevail.

I had the opportunity to play a half dozen blitz games with the late great IM Igor Ivanov. He let me draw a couple of the games even though he could have grinded me down. It really showed me what a decent individual he was; always willing to analyze with a lower rated player after a game, always willing to give of his time, charging only $10.00 an hour for lessons and many other gracious acts. He passed away in 2005. RIP Igor, I really miss you.

I just had another thought… Imagine how many other kids Mr Dobrov has led on this same journey of discovery across the chess board! These little glimpses of genius and generosity are what make CFN such compelling entertainment. Other chess sites focus solely on strategy and competition… or the personalities and shenanigans of the players. But CFN truly gives one a connection with the rich chess culture and community! It’s unique.

Конечно, девочка в силу возраста может чего-то не знать или не понимать, но в том, что касается шахмат, она разбирается прекрасно - с двухлетнего возраста в этом бизнесе.) И кто такой гроссмейстер, она понимает не хуже нас с вами, а может быть, и лучше. Она знакома с шахматным рейтингом, понимает, по крайней мере, в общих чертах, как он рассчитывается и что означает, интересуется рейтингом новичков в клубе. Так что кто перед ней, она полностью в курсе. И грозой гроссмейстеров себя не возомнит.) .

Детская самоуверенность - вещь скорее полезная, чем вредная. Пусть думает, что она это может. Жизнь сама ставит детям мозги на место, если они не сидят без дела. Когда человек постоянно играет со многими шахматистами и неизбежно нередко проигрывает, он со временем узнаёт свои возможности - что он может, а что нет. .

@@user-hm4tp9kd2k Как-то на первом канале с Карповым играл (в рамках шоу) совсем маленький Миша Осипов (он тогда, естественно проиграл). Уж не знаю, эта ли история стала корнем, но самомнение повзрослевшего Осипова раздулось так, что его поведение за доской просто отвратительно (манеры, ужимки и все прочее, мальчик явно пытается показать свое превосходство, жаль только не в шахматном мастерстве). Верю в то, что Ксюша обойдет стороной эта проблема. Но все же соглашусь с человеком, который в своем комментарии не поддеживает этот формат.

А вот мне кажется, что шахматы-это тот вид спорта, где всегда есть один победитель и один проигравший(не берём в учёт ничьи, кого-то они устраивают, кого-то нет). Если им поддаются, или чересчур помогают, человек личностью не становится. Если родители будут давать ребёнку каждый месяц деньги, он будет работать? Правильно, конечно же нет.

Tuve la oportunidad de jugar contra el GM Hummer en mi país fue una partida muy buena entretenida jugamos una defensa francesa aunque el me gano la partida fue muy luchador y aprendí mucho de ella, todo en caballero, aún no entiendo que hacía en mi país jugando un torneo, si habían buenos premios y bastantes grandes maestros pero estaba tan lejos de Rusia, era en Colombia que parecía algo atípico

на 4:05 за белых ладья ходит б2 и это мат) линию 1 перекрывает ладья, защищенная слоном, линия 2 слева закрывается слоном, а пешка справа защищена ферзем, линия 3 полностью перекрывается ферзем и пешкой) он при этом долго думал, я уверен, что с рейтингом 2527 он видел этот ход, но решил дать ребенку выиграть)))

Pinky is a very dangerous player 😮 She acted like she was in trouble, but it was only to bait the GM into her lair. Then she struck at him like a cobra 🐍 The end result was Shane for this GM & a victory to the young Pinky😊
