    Hi there! Ive only seen 2 of your videos so far (as per youtube suggestions) and i love your work. Its so helpful to me rn bcuz im going through a phase of acrylic pours and yr videos are super informative. Question/suggested tip: have you ever thought to use rubber spatulas to help scrape out the excess epoxy from the bucket? I hate wasting paint, especially since im in the startup phase of my business. So i use the rubber spats to get every last drop. Im super into after holiday sales and clearance shopping, and i bought 20 Christmas rubber spatulas (kitchen use) for $2. I use them like crazy in my art projects or transferring paint from containers. Ofc i still use stir sticks, but the rubber spatula has been so helpful in the process as well. If you hadn't consider it, maybe itd be a good idea to promote to your viewers since you mentioned you tackle these projects in a way ppl at home can do em 🌻 Keep up the great work! You're definitely inspiring!

    You should do this for all transport flooring. It would be truly amazing to do for equilibrium studies for health and art...as well as this is truly unique way of external dressings. Well done.

    Okay here is a weird question. I have a sink that sits on top. So I thought I would do epoxy on a board instead of buying granite. So here is the weird question. The holes for the faucet would you cut it in then epoxy or would cut after epoxy all set up?

  • @CountertopEpoxy

    @CountertopEpoxy

    3 ай бұрын

    We would suggest to cut it in prior to the pour to avoid any potential damage to the design however you could do it either way.

    Can it be used in an outdoor kitchen application that has some sun and humidity exposure?

  • @CountertopEpoxy

    @CountertopEpoxy

    3 ай бұрын

    It can! For outdoor applications, we recommend making sure it's completely sealed so water cannot get underneath to the substrate. We also recommend using mid-dark colors to prevent fading over time. Feel free to contact our office at info@countertopepoxy.com with further questions!

    If going over laminite do you have to sand it and put boning primer on it?

  • @CountertopEpoxy

    @CountertopEpoxy

    3 ай бұрын

    If there is no issues with the laminate we typically pour right over without issue. (skim coat and then a flood coat)

  • @Rogpat1984

    Is the skim coat where you put your design colors?

  • @CountertopEpoxy

    @CountertopEpoxy

    3 ай бұрын

    The skim coat is just a sealing coat. We typically do this for any porous substrate such as wood. It's just a think layer of epoxy to seal it once cured we pour a flood coat that will contain the design. @@Rogpat1984
