I love how real she is. She is amazing. I grew up around the same age as her and she has been a music icon for all those years. She literally has saved me many times with her music. A true artist now and forever

I was in my early 50’s when I first listened to Pink and now 70, I still love her. ❤

Some of her songs just hit more the older I get. I’m almost 55. We have benefitted from her past trauma AND her experience in therapy.

“I’m tough because everything bothers me.” Wow. Same. “The people who have the least appreciate the most.” Again, 💯

This woman honestly raised me. She’s my favorite singer alive. Honestly so down to earth and can truly sing. 💛

Vanessa Mulcahy~~I'm an elderly woman with a wonderful grown son~~I was the opposite of how I was raised which messed me up in a lot of ways~~But when I had my child I had to change or at least hide my feelings and be the best Mother I could be~~I never wanted my child to know all the anxiety and depression I was going through because I never wanted him to ever feel the way I did~~I wanted him happy and healthy~~Wish I had a Mom like Pink~~She's awesome on so many levels~~Have a great day and stay safe~~😄💗

She is setting her children up for healthy mental success. They will invest zero stock into looks. We need more of this home teaching.

I was in my 40's when I started to listen to her music. I remembered I was able to see her in 2001 in a club in Fort Lauderdale. It was packed. The song became an instant hit...The Pill. Now I'm on my 60's and still one of my favorite performers. I was supposed to go to her concert in Philadelphia on September 19 and some f&×@$^ hackers got my money. I wish I can see her I was waiting for this moment for years. Now is impossible. Wish her the best.

Love her. I like that she said that she’s not the game to have a bestie and that she’s the mother. So important and exactly how my mum was with me growing up and now we are best friends. Kids need boundaries.

My kids are now adults, my son is 24 & my daughter 19 going on 20. I've always been totally honest with them about everything I could. It was so hard working full time as was my husband & feeling like you were giving enough time to your kids. It's a struggle but kids appreciate your quality time no matter how short it maybe versus lots of distracted time.

This interview proves why Pink is the best.

I asked my parents to go to trauma therapy so we could have a relationship as an adult because I was tired of doing all the emotional labor and being abused. They responded with the worst abuse they've ever inflicted upon me and I've had to cut them off. I used to beg my parents to get divorced as a kid because I was so tired of being in the middle but they claimed they were staying together for us. The effort I had to go to in order to survive and protect my brother from the domestic abuse was ridiculous. How was that for us? That was for them.

sages: same here. Asking them to go to family therapy made me ENEMY #! and my mother made me the target for the entire family after my father tried to literally destroy me. Sometimes peoplel's demons have too much power and control and will hate, despise, attack and attempt to destroy anything and anyone that gets in their way. My whole family has been infected and I only survived by getting away and staying away. And further contact has been so toxic it's a miracle I survived. We all must stay strong and never let those devils take control, no matter how hard they try. May our guardian angels protect us and show us The Way.

@@22ergie Yes, they did have difficulties, but they are also celebrities and definitely on the wild side. They have remained friends throughout, and they are together today with two children. Better than most people, especially people with public lives.

Absolutely love p!nk her music has helped me trough some of the toughest times in my life and I agree with what she says I’ve had a rough up bringing didn’t stop being rough till now I’m in my mid thirties now dealing with a life of abuse and crap but when I’m down her music always help me through

I loved this! Nothing fake here. Pink is so honest about her life you can feel the realness of it in her words. When an artist, no matter the genre, puts their feelings into what they're doing it resonates with the audience. That's why P!nk is so loved by her fans.

The absolute heartbreaking part of this Is I also resonate with begging your parents to get a divorce. Growing up in such a toxic environment really had you craving for peace as an adult especially finding your safe haven. CPTSD is very real. Hugs to everyone who’s going through it. ❤
