i remember watching the telugu remake of this in theatres (coz i missed to watch the original one on big screen) and by the ending scene it was so calm, i could feel the unsaid emotions of every woman present in the theatre and the silent sniffs this movie hits home for a lot of reasons and the no means no dialogue still gives me goosebumps

One word for this movie - Goosebumps ❤️ This movie can be a trigger to lot of victims but it depicts the real way things are handled when women file a complaint. You can literally feel their emotions. Perfect acting.

Uncle in India is a word for friends’ parents, not their actual relative uncles. So instead of saying like Mr. Johnson or Mrs. Johnson they say uncle or Aunty

You will surely love the 2nd half of this movie, it's a true masterpiece.

This movie is a classic example of how Police and law and order systems in India are broken and full of loopholes. Justice is a rare thing We see many police forces bootlicking the netas but when it comes to public service, they are worse

Welcome to the world of Big B a legendary Indian film industry actor who almost single handedly run the industry during 70s ,80s era . All the characters in this movie acted really well. One of my top 5 movies of all time list.

This movie is like a slow burning bomb which will blow with a huge impact at the end. Loved it... Loved it.. loved it..❤

I am always so frustrated, uncomfortable and overwhelmed for the first half of this movie. I remember I wished I could reach through the screen and choke them. For the second half, I always wished it would go faster. I wanted justice served then and there. All the actors did a great job. I can't imagine what it took to get in that role and frame of mind.

Rajneeti should be next. It's a modern take on Mahabharat in a political setting.

You guys should try forensic it's a great thriller movie

I'll post this in the part 2 as well, but: 1. The older guy is Falak's boyfriend, not her dad. 2. She "admits" that they took money to move past that argument because the prosecution's argument was just based on the assumption that they were sex workers. Falak didn't take any money, but admitted to it to make the point that even if money was exchanged, consent is more important and that Minal withdrew hers, and that should be the key takeaway and nothing else.

I can understand Steph s frustration.

This was the last movie that change my pov to the women of society. This is the last movie that made me cry. This movie made my manhood strong.. This movie clears in my mind that every human being is equal either girl or boy. Every human being has their own choice.. No one is no ones slave.. I listen to no one now. Not even what islam says.. This movie is an eye opener for everyone who has a great heart inside them..

I wished for the guy, who was speaking about doing bad things to Minal, to get the treatment from someone like Clyde Shelton from the movie *_Law Abiding Citizen_* . He deserves to feel weak, powerless and helpless deep into his bones. Amitabh Bachhan's entry as lawyer really gave the feeling of a super hero coming for help, to get the justice against the evil, to help the innocents.

This is not a movie....its an everyday news...I read from each and every place..., and all I thought what justice can you give to the women, girl or child....., I mean they can't forget each and every detail of what happened to them..., i was having a conversation with my intern....and I don't why she had so much trust in me....that she never told anyone about the incident she had to face....but she told me... What's shown in the movie is actually true.. In india this is quite common because it's not just women facing these issues it's men to and people who accuse the innocents are your own family members at times.. And there are instances where these victims are just buried with all the truth consealed inside them...😡😡😡
