One of the most powerful tracks from side one of Meddle, possibly their greatest album of all time. Along with some stunning footage of hill/mountain climbing in Wales and
thereabouts, we see the return of the surgically-altered hero Gwynplaine (played by Conrad Veidt) from the 1928 film, The Man Who Laughs. ALSO ... the original footage of the Football Crowds At Anfield cheering the opening ceremonies at one of the games Liverpool Football Club would win earlier in 1971. This is where the chant of the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" was recorded from and dubbed into the end of "Fearless." Classic Rock Review described "Fearless" as "the best overall song on the album and talks about meeting challenges in the face of adversity." And Lord knows there is plenty of that in the times we are now living in.
