Floyd is atheist??

A song about getting older. I am now 70 years old. And I think back a lot. The grass used to be greener. Pink Floyd isn't just music, it's also an experience.

Pink Floyd's lyrics are like the pill you have to swallow. Pink Floyd's music is like the sip of water that allows you to swallow this pill. Then once swallowed, you feel wonderful in your body.

@@paulwilson2651 I done one gig with Hugh Cornwell, but the promoter sent the wrong info to the printers. Hence Glasgow was covered in posters advertising Hugh Cornwall!

I was pretty heartbroken when they told us The Division Bell would be their final album.

Pink Floyd are one of the best band in the history of the Music. High Hopes is the masterpiece of their production and My favourite song. I've heard it thousand of times and still every time is an incredible feeling ❤❤❤

I'm a 56 year-old fan, I've been listening to them since I was 11. Their music draws out the poison that might otherwise consume me. It's nice to see how it captures the youth of today as well, showing how timeless Pink Floyd can be... and if you haven't already, check out "Great Gig in the Sky", but the original studio version first, from Dark Side of the Moon. It's simply the absolute best version of it there is, the live versions are good copies, but they don't approach the brilliance of the original. Clare Torry, the vocalist, did it on the second take, and it was all improvised.

From an Aussie who has loved PF since I was 15 (am now 63) that is a wonderful story and I am so jealous!! I love that you recognised it, that is so cool! Best wishes to you from another Floyd fan from the other side of the world. I still need to listen to them nearly every day, it’s food for my soul.

If you react to any other Pink Floyd tunes, check to see if there is a PULSE concert version. It was a legendary concert, and uniformly excellent throughout. Floydicus Pinkus’s studio albums are incredible, and worth listening to. But PULSE was REALLY good.

Well he plays acoustic, then he swaps it for a pedal steel guitar for the second half of the song. Both are amazing.

This are such a beautiful number, hard too pick a favorite Pink Floyd number, but for me this are slightly the better one
