A nerve block is usually not something that is used when treating pink eye in cattle.

atif khan Opticlox Eye Ointment is usually highly effective! But other antibiotic eye ointments can also be used. For example, Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment with Polymyxin (from Zoetis Inc.) is frequently utilised in the US. Also, you can try injectable antibiotics. Simple injectable Penicillin also works in the majority of cases, but the best approach is to contact Veterinarian as he is going to be way more efficient in choosing treatment (depending on the case) and in applying it!
Pink eye in cattle is caused by Morexella bovis but you mentioned mycoplasma?

There are numerous causative agents for pink eye.
An old cow man told me a lot of the troubles start with spear grass mixed in with hay. It gets under the eyelid and you cant see that it's there.
