I have only done sewing things for my family never done anything like this before im crafty person with my circuit but this is hole new ball game. I plan on doing this next month and then again in dec for my son teacher and principal ect this should be fun. you make it look to simple thanks

Love the video! When you say pour it to the rim. Are you saying fill the whole bottom of the cup with the uv resin or just squirt enough to make a thin layer?

Best method I have been using is the heated bedazzler applicator (game changer) *for the hole

What jewel stones did you use? How did you glue them, type of adhesive?

Acrylic paint is what was missing, and maybe mixing without water ?? My mica powder sits at the bottom of the cup after awhile 🤷🏻‍♀️

Never thought about using acrylic paint, no wonder mine don't have that milky look lol

I think the issue with regular resin is that it takes half a day to a day to dry and in that time it may go into your cup. With quick cure resin or uv resin, it cures quickly so it doesn't seep into your cup if that makes sense?

You did not have to plug the bottom drilled hole at all other than the gorilla epoxy?

So when you put the epoxy in the drill hole it won’t go down to the side?

If you’re using super fine glitter it’s going to clump up I use 1/2 cup of water and 2 of the 1/2 cup of the vegetable glicerin

Is the Uv resin necessary? Or with the epoxy glue is okay

Yes Only thing is it will settle to the bottom when it sits for a while. Just gotta shake it up to mix it again

You can get any clear double walled tumblers and they'll work. (It doesn't have to be a Starbucks cup.) 😃

No the next day you have let the cup degass overnight to get rid of all the bubbles

So the epoxy didn’t run into the Liq thru the hole I noticed u didn’t use a plug….have u ever noticed molding with the glycerin vs glue ……luv the tumbler

No i haven't had any mold forming. I have a few tumblers that are a year old

can i add fine glitter ?

The gorilla glue epoxy doesn’t get inside the cup?

The problem I’m running into is I’m not sure I’m getting enough liquid in my cups. Idk if it will make sense but I fill it to the top but when it’s sealed and I turn it over it’s only half full of liquid. Is this normal?

You probably have too much air inside the cup let it rest after putting the liquid in and see if the air bubble disappears or reduces

Hi, after the gorilla glue, would I be able to leave the bottle as it is or do I need to get the resin glue too? Thank you. I made it but its leaking so shall I re-apply the gorilla glue on the bottle?

After the Gorilla resin you need to cover the bottom with UV resin & cure it under a uv light just like she did

I did the pink starbucks however majority of my strawberries are stuck at top. I am not using the starbucks brand tumbler. It's a Amazon. May that be the issue? Please help assist. Thanks
